Ramsay's POV
Ava mourned for days, she sat by the window, it was like she was waiting for Jaime's return. I knocked on the door. "Lover, please come out. Everything will go back to normal eventually." She never looked at me, just straight out the window. "I had asked Jaime to be my hand. I put the badge on him before he left." She finally shed a tear, she hasn't since learning of his death. I walked forward and crouched in front of her. "He died wearing that pin Ava, but he's not coming back. I'm sorry but it's true. He fought for you, he loved you and he was loyal, but he died going back for Cersei. You know that, you have to move on." She threw her arms around me. "What would I do if I didn't have you Ramsay?"
I helped her to her feet, Melisandre was right. She had the most beautiful round bump. Three handmaidens came in and adjusted her heavy gown. "My Queen, it's time for the coronation, you need to finish getting ready. I'll see you there." I kissed her on the cheek and exited, I needed to change into my clothes for it. "Yes my King." She smiled softly. Her usually wild hair was flat and it hugged her back and shoulders. The handmaidens continued to dress her as I exited the room.

She approached me slowly. I thought our wedding night was the most beautiful I had ever seen her, I was wrong. This was. Her dress had fur on the sleeves, almost like a Dire Wolf. There was autumn leaves on the inside lining. She looked beautiful. I was dressed in black all over. With my boots polished till they were shining and a heavy black cloak. It matched Ava's dress with the fur around my shoulders. I smiled at her. "You look wonderful Ava." I complimented. "I can barley walk in this dress. I feel so big." She nervously laughed.
"Lets go and get our crowns." I held my arm out and she linked hers. We walked up a long a torchlit corridor, into the crowded great hall, as we walked past people began kneeling. We took our place at the front of the hall. Agnes was stood with Eleanor just off to the side. Ava waved at them as we turned around to face our people. I let go of her hand and took my place, stood in front of my throne. A braided crown was placed on her head, it was delicate and the sliver looped and swirled. There was a Direwolf in the centre, with a very large ruby for its eye. She observed her surroundings and followers, before taking a seat on her throne, which had Dire wolves carved into it. "The Queen in the North!" A man shouted, many others repeated. The whole room shouted for her.
A silver crown was placed on my head, it was heavier than I anticipated, but I wasn't complaining. How I would love for my father to see me now. Sitting on my own throne, wearing my own crown. Ruling over the North as an independent kingdom. "The King in the North!" The people chanted. I took my seat beside Ava. We turned and looked at each other and smiled. I was crowned their king that day, after everything I had done to those people, to the North itself, to their Queen. They accepted me now because of Ava. I originally wanted to be Warden of the north, I never imagined I would become King. Or that I would be married to the love of my life, or that I would be a father to a beautiful daughter, and to an unborn son.
That evening Ava began getting pains closer and closer together. She sat in her nightdress on the end of our bed trying to breath through it. When she couldn't anymore, she cried out in pain and grabbed my hand. "He's coming." She yelped. "Oh fuck." I cursed, once again I was in this position, and I still had no idea what to do. "Go and get the Maester!" She shouted at me at top volume. I jumped up and ran towards the door. "I'll be back in just a minute." I said. I could hear her crying from up the corridor.
I crashed through the door to his study and he jumped. He had been so engrossed in the book he was reading. "Ava is." I began, but I was out of breath. "Baby." I said. He knew exactly what I meant and he raced around his study picking various bottles and objects up. When we arrived back at our chambers, Ava was holding onto a bed post, her teeth were clenched so hard I thought they would break. She was sweating and her skin was slick. Ivy was stood right there, tying Ava's long hair up and wiping her brow.
