A week had passed since Jongin had showed up at my house and surprisingly, my Mom welcomed him with open arms. She was so happy that I made a new friend for some reason which I never gave much thought about. It was hard for Jongin to adapt to his new life style but I was always there to help him. Xiumin and Baekhyun still watched Jongin as if he would come right out and attack us at any moment.

He was still a little intimidating to me but he was more sweet towards me. My heart would do a double take when thinking about Jongin confessing that he liked me. I'm not gonna lie, it was weird considering our situation not too long ago, but he couldn't possibly hurt me because he isn't as strong as he was before.

Speaking of which, he had been in the bathroom for quite some time which caught my attention. "Jongin? Are you ok?" It could've easily been misheard if I didn't listen closely to him groaning in pain. "Y-Yes.." His voice sounded weak but I wasn't having any of it. "No you're not. Unlock the door." He tries to speak again but the sound of something falling had me in a panicking state. "Jongin!" I yelled while shaking the door knob.

Trying to push down the door, it didn't work as I wasn't very strong. "Jongin can you hear me?" I called out and looked around my room for something to unlock the door with. Finding a paperclip, I used it to try opening the door but it wouldn't work. "Kyungsoo? Is everything okay?" My Mom called and I immediately run to her. "Do you have the keys to the bathroom? Something is wrong with Jongin!" She gasps and quickly runs to her room to return with a key.

As she puts the key in and unlocks it, I ran to Jongin who was passed out on the floor. "Jongin? Are you okay? Wake up. Come on." I shook his shoulders, hoping he would at least say something, or move. "Should I call the ambulance?" My Mom asks and I shake my head because I already knew things were going to be ugly if they find out that he doesn't have any medical records or history because he wasn't human before.

Seeing as his eyes barely fluttered, I put my hand on his cheek and tried calling for him again. "Can you bring him a glass of water while I put him on my bed?" My Mom nods and goes downstairs to get him a glass of water. I put him on my bed and sat next to him. When my Mom returned with the water, I sat him up and told him to drink, but he shook his head and pushed the glass away. "You have to drink water." I told him and he winces as if he were hurting somehwere. "Where does it hurt?" I ask and he slowly lifts up his hand and places it on his heart.

"I-I.." He gasps and closes his eyes tightly. "I'll go get him some medicine from the pharamacy." I nodded and turned to Jongin as she left. "Whats wrong Jongin? What's happening?" As he tries to speak, it turned into a coughing fit and I pat his back, trying to calm him down. "Witch." He groaned out and my eyes widened. What is he talking about? How is the witch doing something to him? "What about it?" He gasps for air and looks up at me. "The wish. I-It keeps me human if I drink-" Again, he groaned out and I could see the vein visible on his neck.

"Drink what?" I asked and he shakes his head. "I cant. I cant." He keeps repeating until I finally understood. "My blood?" The way he looked at me as if saying 'im not going to' had me feel like I needed to do this for him. I don't know if I had feelings for him or not, but I did know that he was always on my mind. I was happy when he's with me and that my Mom and Dad loved having him stay with us.

"Hey, look at me." He turns his head towards me as I cup his cheek. "I'm going to help you. You can't leave me." My breathing increased as I sat him up and leaned his head closer to me so his lips were on my neck. His hands tried to push me away but I hugged him close. "Do it." I tell him before he shakes his head. "If you really like me do it." I said and he was still before he squeezed my shoulders and looked into my eyes with regret in his.

I leaned in to whisper into his ear, "Do it." He lets out a deep breath and before I knew it, his teeth sank into my neck. It was painful. Feeling the blood rush out of me and hearing my heartbeat getting louder and louder while slowing down just a little.

I could barely feel something wet drip onto my shoulder and hear a soft sniffle as the pain came to an end and the fangs were out of my neck. "I'm sorry." He apologizes over and over until I wrapped my arms around him and caressed his hair to let him know that I was okay and that he didn't hurt me.

After he calmed down, I pulled apart from him to look into his eyes.

"I'm guessing my blood came with your wish?" He looked down in shame and nodded. "Only yours though." Looking at his sad expression did something to my heart and I realized that seeing him sad shattered me and I would do everything to make him happy. It was only then that I also realized that maybe I kind of like him.

"I kind of like you Jongin." I could feel my vision slowly get blurry as I watched his eyes widen until I could no longer see him, but pitch black darkness.
