Phoenix yawned as he sat on the bus to Isle of the Lost leaning his head against the window. He watched as a few more helper and of course guards climbed onto the bus as well before the VKs of Auradon finally arrived. He watched them all for a minute before giving Evie who spotted him a small smile and wave to which the daughter of the evil queen politely returned. Then Phoenix was back to looking out the window. A few moments had passed before the bus was on its way. Phoenix now couldn't help but be excited after all he was going to see someplace new! Despite his guilt or constant need to prove himself he always loved exploring. He could recall when Audrey was first born he had wandered off into the enchanted forest while everyone fussed over the new princess. He had been out there for a few good hours before he heard the loud sound of his father's horse running. He remembered his father holding onto him so tightly telling him never to wonder off because he didn't know what could possibly be out there. Phoenix of course didn't understand after all he was only 2 at the time but the next time it happened he was much older. His father was unable to find him that time and when he finally came home he could remember his mother crying as his little sister glared at him. He felt so guilty for it that he only ever adventured was out with his father on a hunt or walks with Ben to discuss matters in the two kingdoms.
"Welcome to the Isle of the Lost everyone"
Phoenix pulled back from his memories as he looked out the window to see. Despite the horrible state the place was in, he couldn't help but feel like something big was about to change his world completely...
