The NHT member were chilling in the mansion minding their own business until a thought popped into Weiss' mind.
Weiss: "Hey Ruby, what's your family like?"
Blake: "Now that you mention it, you haven't really told us much about your family."
Ruby: "Abusive or Cybertronian?"
Coco: "Your nonexistent one, of course we're talking about your Cybertronian one."
Blake: "Actually I was hoping to learn more about both of your families."
Weiss: "Same."
Ruby: "Ok, it started when I was three years old..."

After Ruby explained everything to the human members of the NHT, and to say they were appalled would be an understatement.
Ruby: "...And then I ran away, end of story."
Coco: ".........Well that wassss......"
Blake: "Terrible."
Weiss: "Yang, how could you do that to her?!?"
Yang hung her head in shame before answering, "I was stupid back then, they told me to do it, but after ran away, the whole family suffered, me the most."
Sky Fire: "What do you mean you suffered the most?"
Yang didn't answer, rather she started to remove her scarf, and that's when Ruby saw it, a massive burn on the side of her neck.
"Did HE do that?" Ruby asked with a massive amount of venom in her voice as her wolf ears flattened against her head and after several seconds, Yang nodded slowly, "You don't have my forgiveness, but you have my sympathy."
Yang: "Thanks."
Oscar: "What about your Cybertronian family?"
"I'll only tell you who they are and what they're like, to explain everything will be a massive pain, you guys alright with that?" Ruby asked to which everyone nodded, then ruby began.
