A/N: Just a heads up, this chapter and the next will mainly focus on Raiden.
Ruby, Raiden and Accelerate had made it to the underground city and were currently exploring it, they went to the centre of it before splitting up and going off in different directions: Ruby to the east, Accelerate to the south-west and Raiden headed north. As Raiden passed the city's buildings he began to sense that the City predated humanity but what got Raiden on guard was that some the city's building's had scorch marks and were burned down.
As Raiden continued to explore he eventually got to the most northern part of the city which ended with a sheer drop. Raiden turned and was going to head back, but as he turned something caught his eye. A temple.

Raiden entered the temple and walked through a long, large dark hallway; his Silver eyes with fluorescent blue pupils seemingly glowing and lighting his way. eventually he exits the hallway and finds himself in a large chamber with a shrine in the center of it.

Raiden walks up to the table in the center of the shrine where an unknown object laid, as Raiden got closer he saw what the object was.
"A Rusted Sword?" he said to himself before picking it up and examined it.
"What the frag is a rusted sword doing here, it's not li-ow," Raiden said before he accidently cut his palm while examining the blade of the old sword make blood fall onto it.
Raiden: "Even though it's so rusted, it's still quite sharp."
He was about to wipe the blood off of it, but before he could the blood was absorbed into the blade shocking him, then the hilt if the blade glowed an ominous red, once it died down Raiden say the hilt now had a red gem with a cross in the center of the gem.
