Ugh
Adalia thought to herself, she was sat in math class not understanding a word she was reading.
'Hey, need any help?'
A voice brought her out of her thoughts. She turned to see a boy with brunette hair and sapphire eyes.
'Um, yeah.'
Adalia replied blushing. Wow he's cute she thought.
'So, you basically have to...'
He carried on talking but Adalia didn't notice she was drooling over a boy who's name she didn't even know.
'So, you understand now?'
He asked.
'Sorry, I wasn't paying attention.'
She replied, laughing awkwardly.
'I'm Daniel Seavey.'
He said holding out his hand. Adalia took it and blushed even more.
Wow, even his name is attractive.
'I'm Adalia,'
she smiled.
'Pretty name for a pretty girl,'
he replied smirking, which only made her blushing worse.

Adalia made her way to the cafeteria, still thinking about the interaction with Daniel earlier that day, a familiar voice startled her, she then saw the unmistakable red hair.
'Hey Adalia!'
Dylan shouted.
Adalia got her lunch and proceeded to sit down opposite her.
'So, you and Daniel...what's up with that,' Dylan asked smiling wickedly.
'Nothing...'
Adalia lied, she has always been a bad liar.
'Yeahhh right!'
Dylan exclaimed and rolled her bright eyes.
'Hey girls,'
Jessica smiled sweetly at them as she and Jasmine sat down.
'You guys still coming tonight?'
'Yeah,'
the 3 other girls said in unison.

Adalia stood by the gates waiting for Jessica, Dylan and Jasmine. While she was waiting, she caught the eyes of Daniel and smiled shyly at him, which he returned with a wave. He was with his friends and was heading towards the  yellow school bus.

She then heard the familiar laughter of her friends and held up her hand signalling where she was.
'Lets go!'
Jessica said happily, leading the way. They all followed, Dylan alongside them on her skateboard.

The four girls sat in a circle on the pink rug in Jessica's room, her puppy, Bubbles running around their legs. Full house was playing on the tv, but they weren't paying any attention to it, they were more interested in the thrilling game of truth or dare.

'Alright you fuckers, let's get started!'
Dylan shouted.
'Jasmine, truth or dare?'
She questioned.
'Umm',
she thought for a second before deciding. 'Truth.'
'Ugh boring!'
Jessica said rolling her eyes.
'How many people have you kissed?'
'...5.'
She said laughing awkwardly.
'Oooo!'
The three other girls chanted.

The game continued, leaving Dylan with her clothes inside out and Jasmine with ruby red lipstick all over her face.

'So, Adalia...'
Dylan said.
God no!
Adalia knew exactly what she was going to ask.
'What's going on with you and Daniel.'
She asked smiling innocently.
'I hate you!'
Adalia laughed.
'But there's nothing going on. I just think he's cute that's all.'
She asked blushing at the thought of him.

'Oh shit!'
Adalia exclaimed, looking at the clock to see that it was 9:30.
'I told my mom I'd be home by 9. I'm sorry girls, I've got to go!'
'Bye Adalia!'
She heard them shout simultaneously as she bolted towards the stairs and down the sidewalk to her house.
