when she was startled by her phone ringing, she sighed and made her way towards it.
'Hello?'
She questioned.
'Hey, it's Winston.'
She heard the familiar voice.
'Oh, hey Winston, what's up?'
She replied.
'Nothing, I was just wondering if you'd like to come out with me.'
'Now?'
'Yeah if that's alright with you.'
He replied.
'Yeah it's fine.'
'Cool I'll be there in 15!'
He said then put down the phone.
She walked towards her bedroom and began to put on her shoes.

She was sitting on her sofa when she heard a bicycle bell ring and went to open the door. There she saw Winston on her driveway. She grabbed her baby blue bike from her porch and rode towards to Winston.
'Hey.'
He said smiling.
'Hi, so where are we going?'
She questioned.
'Follow me!'
He laughed, and began to ride away.

About 10 minutes later, they had arrived. Winston slowed his bike down and got off of it.
Adalia climbed off her bicycle and balanced it against a nearby tree.
'Wow!'
She said breathlessly.
'Pretty, right?'
Winston asked her.
'Yeah.'
She replied.
Winston had brought her to a lake just outside of town. The sun setting was being reflected off the clear water in a mesmerising way.

'Why did you want to see me?'
Adalia asked.
'Because we haven't spoken in a while, I miss you!'
Winston replied.
'Aw Winston, I miss you too.'
She replied.
They sat in silence for a few minutes watching the water. Adalia slowly felt Winston's hand in her own. She blushed but still held his hand.

Maybe Dylan is right? she asked herself

Maybe Dylan is right?
she asked herself.
No Adalia he doesn't like you back
She thought.
Winston suddenly let go of her hand, leaving Adalia disappointed,
'Shit, I've got to get home!'
Winston hurried towards his bike,
'Bye Ad, see you tomorrow!'
'Bye, Win!'
Adalia smiled.
He rode off towards his home, leaving Adalia confused with her feelings.
Do I like him or not?
