The song I put is not related at all to the AU story. This is also my first AU I hope you enjoy!

Keith's POV

"I have to get out of here somehow" I thought as I raced through the huge castle. I was dizzy and hurt but I dident stop as I went around a corner I saw a galra solder about to attack a altean child that looked to be about 5 as I ran up to the galra I pulled out my blade and stabbed him in his heart. The altean must have left as I dident see them when I looked back but then I felt something hit the back of my head...hard and I lost consciousness.

Lance's POV

"What is taking the guards so long to get here? I know we just got attacked but none of the guards were severely hurt and even then there should be a update" just then I hear a knock on my door "Come in!" I say and I see Coran at my door way "any news Coran?" I look at him curiously wondering why he looks worried "we have captured a galra but there's something wrong with it" said Coran making me worried and more anxious
"we have a galra here?!"
"Yes..." Coran said his voice dull
"I want to see the galra when it wakes up"
"The galra should be waking up in a few tics if you want to head down now just be careful he looked hurt and I don't know if galra are more aggressive when there hurt"
"I will...Thankyou Coran"
"No problem"
And with that he leaves so I decide to go to the prison as that's where we keep all captives and then I see the most beautiful galra that has shocking yellow eyes with deep violet pupils and I can't help but stare then I hear a small whimper from the galra.

Keith's POV

Let's out a soft whimper of fear as he sees the Prince of altea walk up to him

"A-are you going to h-hurt me?" I say with fear obvious in my voice

"Why would I hurt you?" Lance askes with wonder and curiosity in his voice

"Because I'm a galra and galra attack your kind?" I say confused

"Well as far as I know you haven't done anything. Just because you were in the battle dossent mean you killed any altean's or hurt any for that matter"

"True but don't your kind punish any galra you capture good or not?"

"No we try to get information in a non threatening way so that the prisoner whoever they are don't have to suffer and can live there life peacefully"

Feels the pain and hunger from his previous abuse of being a half breed at zarkons empire and winces at the memories

"So you aren't going to hurt me?" His voice laced in pain that he tries to hide and fails

"No" "and it seems like your already in pain"

"H-how did you guess I was in pain?" and tries to move backwards as Lance walks up to him and knows it's only a matter of time before lance realizes how thin he is from hunger

"I can tell because your body is tense and your teeth are clenched together that and I can hear it in your voice and there's blood on the floor..."

Feels a wall against his back and realizes he's trapped. Whimpers a little more both from fear and pain.

"Please... don't hurt me.....i don't want to go through it again...." and feels the world around him starting to spin then go black

Lance's POV

Sees the galra collapse on his side and when he's about 6 ft away from him he realizes that he can see Keith's spine and ribs clearly through his thick galra armor and as he walks close enough to touch him he notices that Keith has several tourchure wounds on him aside the fact that he was severely malnourished he also had several different wounds on his face and neck.

Whispers "who did this to you and why?"

Gently picks him up and carries him to a healing pod and puts him inside after taking off his armor

"Please be ok" he whispered
