World n°2

Jimin cursed out loud when he woke up in King Jungkook's bed. He wished he woke up in the same arms he slept in, safe and sound, secure and free of worries. He hated this Jungkook, but he loved the other twice as much as he hated this one.

If king Jungkook was good at anything, it was driving him insane at most parts. King Jungkook wouldn't stop hating Taehyung, and nothing seemed able to stop him.

Jimin walked out of the bed, remembering Taehyung was just released, and he wished he could see him, make sure he was okay, but he knew that he couldn't. Jungkook would never allow him, not that he wasn't already crazily jealous of his friend's love.

Maybe it was childish, but Jimin tried to sleep again. For the truth was, he hated every second he spent as a servant, the only thing good about it was that Tae was the nicest human being and friend ever, which made his misery a bit less painful. But everything apart of that was absolutely nightmarish.

He hated the fact Jungkook got to even speak to him, much less touch him or kiss him as he previously attempted. He hated that Jungkook, horridly full of himself that he couldn't see anyone's pain as long as he was content, that Jimin doubted he could even love anyone else but himself.

Jimin woke up again, and he, for the first time in ages, felt that he had rested well. A small smile lifted his lips, he never knew he'd get happy for resting, but he indeed didn't rest well in so long he missed it so much. The feeling of not being tired lifting up like some old rusty curse.

His smile dropped the moment he opened his eyes, his gaze falling on the same furniture of Jungkook's royal quarter. He was sure this wasn't his room, his Royal advisor's room, and he didn't understand what the hell was even happening.

“Oh my god!” Jimin muttered, spurred by the thought that he somehow, couldn't come back to his own world anymore. The thought haunted him but he still couldn't accept it. No, he couldn't be stuck here, as a castle servant forever with no power in his hands.

“Did the universe forget to take me back? What's on Earth is this bullshit?” Jimin's hands were frantically rubbing his head in sheer shock and disbelief. He should've woken up in his original world, why didn't he? Why couldn't he?

It was the day when he figured, he was stuck, forever stuck. No matter how many times he tried to sleep, he didn't go back to his world, not even once.

Jimin was now trapped in this world where he couldn't change a thing, where he could never stop the doom from happening and everyone from dying in a unexpected war, where he couldn't stop Tae and Gguk from killing each other, from dying in both worlds. It was making him feel so desperate, almost lose his mind.

“Now what to do about this?” Jimin muttered, sighting internally, telling himself to get a grip. He hated the fact he was never coming back, but he tried to convince himself that he could still do something to stop the doom from occuring.

After all, the King was enamoured with him. At least as much as he could love with such a narcissistic heart of his. He knew that his love was just the result of the other Jungkook loving him so purely, but it was love nonetheless, and he still could use it in his favor, make him have even the slightest bit of control over his life.

Jimin sneaked out of the room, for he needed to see Tae for once or he felt that he'd just lose the last vestiges of his mind. Maybe that was his fate, always running like his life depending on it for it to all go in vain.

He found Taehyung in the kitchen, and he felt lighter than he thought was possible, lighter than he'd been in a long time. He loved the see Taehyung, it was the only thing that didnt change in the two worlds, always pure hearted.

Taehyung smiled, as if he already knew Jimin was there.

“Hey Minnie!” Taehyung run to him, jumping at him in sheer joy, slunging his legs around his waist almost dramatically. “You don't look sick anymore, I'm happy.”

“They finally let you out. That was such a very blunt accusation. Sucks how being King makes you capable of anything. I fucking hate him!” Jimin huffed under his breath, and Taehyung slid him a look, tilting his head a little in a purely curious way. It seemed the other Jimin was probably very careful about insulting the crown King, but that wasn't him. He had no qualms at all.

“But they knew it was wrong, that's what matters.” It seemed as if Taehyung was fishing in his mind for anything to say and distract himself with.

“They could've killed you!” Jimin exclaimed, trying very carefully not to explode in Taehyung's face while the latter was only the victim. The neutral expression on Taehyung’s face had an odd calming effect on Jimin, so he just found it a little tedious to calmly think, making him calm down a notch.

“What I mean to say is: The accusation wasn't blind Tae. Jungkook hates you, he meant to accuse you. He will do it again. I don't want you to die, you need to run from here. I have some gold, I'll give it all to you but please run away.” Jimin's voice softened, and he sounded really concerned. Taehyung squinted his eyebrows in confusion. Apparently, it didn't cross his mind at all.

“I know he hates me, but I can't leave you here alone. You hate him too, you know? I heard around that he wanna marry you. I can't leave you in this hell alone.” Taehyung muttered, and he seemed just as concerned. But Jimin was convinced nothing would happen to him.

So what if he was forced to marry King Jungkook? That only meant he'd have more power in his hands, but did that even matter if Taehyung was dead? He highly doubted it would even be worth it.

Taehyung looked like he had no plans to participate in Jimin's escape plan, and it made Jimin even more frustrated. He knew it deep in his heart. Jungkook was a fucking heartless psychopath, he'd never think twice before sending Taehyung to the guillotine and get him out of the way, because he knew Jimin loved him, and he wasn't one to share.

“Taehyung, it's fucking no kiddies game. He'll kill you and I mean it. Please listen to me.” Jimin muttered in a burst of sharp desire of protection, as if it was his only sole mistake if Taehyung ended up dying in Jungkook's hands.

So Jimin decided to tell him, very well aware he seemed pretty much insane, but he was surprised at how Taehyung listened to him in an attentive serious fashion, like what he said was the most probable thing ever, like he believed every word he said. Taehyung just drummed his fingers against the wall of the kitchen in deep thought after he heard the story and Jimin' s explanation.

“I always told you there were other worlds, other us, other worldy creatures, other things we weren't able to see but you were always skeptical. But it's sad how you came in terms with it in such a tragic way.” Taehyung muttered and Jimin smiled still. It was refreshing how someone didn't treat him like a mad person after his strange story. He never heard Taehyung's stories, but he was sure he'd probably love to.

“Well, if I see it coming, I'll run away. But I won't go now.” Taehyung said after a few moments of thought, and Jimin noted that he needed to warn him if he felt any danger radiating off Jungkook, but he was still scared that when it happens, that none if them will ever see it coming.

Jimin leant forward, hugging Taehyung again, letting the latter rest his head on top of his shoulder. Jimin caressed his hair in affection, muttering how much he meant to him in his ears, that he wanted him to be safe and happy.

Jungkook was watching from the other side of the hallway. He sneered, directing his squinty glare at the both of them, wearing a deep frown in his face. Saying he was jealous was an underestimation of how he felt, if not totally inaccurate, because he could almost swear there was fire in his chest. It manifested in his eyes, the way they burnt in an almost animalistic glow.

Jungkook made it a plan, Taehyung won't live to see another day.
