I feel so disgusting...
I can't ever wash it off –
Like scars are reminders,
Of the things that we've lost.
I'm writhing in my wallow,
My eyes swollen with pain and tears...
My face is sunken and sallow;
The toll of these long, hard years.
My heart is frayed and worn,
Broken beyond repair...
Missing every other beat –
As I drown in despair.
