All Hope

I seen a white light and my arms became painful yet, stronger that any other part of my body.

I licked my lips a couple of times and seeing that they were dry, and tasted of alcohol.

How drunk had I been last night?

And what happened?

I lifted my self up, just the top half of my body and used my arms to stay up.

There was just bodies lying around me.

And a girl, I had never seen before.

"Hello, Marcie."the girl spoke rising up like magic.

"H-H-Hello, what's your n-name?"i stuttered, how she just floated like an angel.

"My names Diana, and you. You have to wake up, or you won't live."she said.

My eyes widened, what?

"Excuse me?"i said confused.

"I'm talking to your soul, darling, wake up, find the strength to wake up."she echoed then disappeared.

I was still confused?

Wake up or I won't live?

And Diana? Is that not Luke's mystical being of a friend?

I started to think to just try and make myself open my eyes.

I pushed as hard as I could to make them open, they stayed shut like glue.

I struggled and struggled to pry them open but I didn't have the strength to make it happen.

I closed my eyes and drifted off to a deep sleep.

Hoping it would all end, when I woke.

I can't believe this, that brat of a girl.

Yes her, Kelly!

She hit my girl, and now she's in a coma.

She could awake and be brain damaged or she may not wake and I will be left broken hearted or in a jail cell for murdering that Kelly!

I stared at her lying in the hospital bed, she looked like Snow White, awaiting to be awoken by her true love, by a simple kiss.

It's how all the fairytales go.

They're all the same, but this was no fairytale, this was anything but that. It was real.

And Marcie,

Was in a coma.

She had been in one for 2 weeks, I still stayed by her side, not even moved for food or a shower.

Yes you may be thinking, how disgusting is that.

But no I wasn't moving deodorant could hold me, I wouldn't leave her side.

If I didn't knowing my luck she'd go into shock or even death.

I wouldn't be there, so I'm sticking my self on that hospital chair, and staying with her.

I sat at my desk across from Miss Hopewood's Coma recover room.

I couldn't work at all.

Seeing that young boy stare at her am stay by her side, made me want to burst into rivers of tears.

He never stirred, nor moved.

He just stayed put where he was and made sure she was still breathing.

He needed at shower, but he didn't care.

He waited for his love, to get better and become well.

But I didn't think the doctor thought the same, about Miss Hopewood becoming well.

I awoke again, feeling my heart beating do fast I could hardly breathe.

I looked around and no one was there.

No bodies, or even the girl Diana.

Just me, and it wasn't even the park anymore.

It was a thick white 'sea' of white, surrounding me, not a person in sight.

Just myself feeling it hard to breathe and no one there to help me.

I grabbed the red cord and yanked it as hard as I could.

I didn't know if that loud beeping noise was trouble or a sign?

It beeped and beeped and Marcie's chest wasn't moving anymore.

Just lying there lifeless, so she was.

I panicked and yanked the cord again.

Floods of doctors and nurses flew in and pushed me out of the way.

Nurse Drew approached me.

"Luke, dear child. I'm sorry but you need to leave. We'll do the best we can to save Marcie."she said and opened the door for me.

I yelled after Marcie but was shoved out.

I know that Nurse Drew meant no harm, I knew it was her job.

I just wanted to be with Marcie and never leave her alone.

I loved her and I couldn't loose her.

I could see the young girls chest slowing down, it looked bad.

I don't think she was ready to die now.

But she was close to it.

Her chest stopped moving and so did her heart.

All hope was lost for the young boy who loved her, all of it.
