Min-joon's POV~
Myeon-ji came home with a few bags that looked a bit heavy as she struggled to keep the door open. Quickly I hustled over to help her out, but as soon as she saw me she said,
"No! I got it, I can do it myself."
I smirked and took a step back, tilting my head to the side and crossed my arms, letting her slowly but surely inch her way inside the house.
With a few attempts she managed to get through, setting the bags down on the counter immediately. I could tell by the sound they made on the counter that it was some heavy stuff.
"Wow I've never seen you work that hard for something," I said giving a slow clap, "Good job."
"Oh shut up."
She turned her back on me and walked towards the counter, sorting the groceries out in the kitchen. From behind her I slipped my arms around her waist, giving her a tight hug. I leaned my head to rest on her shoulder, closing my eyes.
"You know, you're really short when I do this, I might even break my back."
With that statement she jammed her elbow in my side, catching me off guard.
Damn that hurts!
I could hear a small giggle come from her, while she still turned her back to me. As revenge I put my arms around her waist again, but this time, I picked her up and carried her to the living room.
"Hey what are you doing!?" Myeon-ji exclaimed.
Without an answer I threw her on the couch and went on top of her. A sudden tint of pink rose up on her cheeks, her eyes darting away from mine. I took my hand and put it under her chin, turning her head to me.
"What do you want Min-joon?" She asked quietly.
I chuckled and said, "Isn't it obvious?"
She rolled her eyes, pulling me down for a sweet kiss on the lips, her lipstick giving me a fruity taste. Pulling away she smiled and pushed me off, now sitting on my lap, staring into my eyes. Hers sparkled in an adorable way, giving off an innocent look.
"You're such a baby Min-joon," She said booping my nose.
"But that's why you love me right?"
"Of course," she replied, lifting her head up to kiss my forehead.
After that she got up and went back to the kitchen to sort out the groceries, where Luna came up to me as soon as she left jumping up onto my lap. She purred and laid down into a little fluffy ball, comforting my legs.
"Sometimes it's hard to figure out whether or not I love you more than Myeon-ji, or her more than you," I said, petting between her ears and down her back.
I took out my phone and looked at the time, seeing that it was still a bit early, with just enough time to go out on a fun date.
"Hey babe!" I called.
Myeon-ji came over and said, "What do you need?"
"Let's go to a theme park today, since it's still a bit early and the weather is perfect," I offered.
She perked up at the words theme park and nodded vigorously, quickly getting her purse ready. Women and their purses. Why do they need so many? After a few minutes she had her shoes on and her sunglasses ready on the top of her head and her purse on shoulder.
"Let's go!" She exclaimed, walking towards the door.
Grinning, I took my wallet and keys, putting them in my pockets. I followed her outside, locking the door behind me just to be safe. She was already ahead of me, walking on the sidewalk to the nearby theme park which was a 5 minute walk away.
5 minutes later~
Now that we stood in front of the gate, her giddiness only started to rise as she squeezed my arm in excitement. I took her hand and walked through, seeing the cheerful and busy crowds, with kids running free with a few parents looking for their rowdy children. I took the initiative and paid for tickets and other goods so that we could stay here for a long and good time.
After I bought everything, Myeon-ji pulled my arm as I was still putting my change into my wallet.
"Myeon-ji hold on!" I yelled, still trying to organize my wallet.
"Come on let's go to that mini game over there! *Gasp* LOOK IT'S A HUGE STUFFED ANIMAL!! There's so many!!" She screamed, clearly fangirlling over all the adorable prizes.
She dragged me over to one which I've seen too many of before, where you had a toy gun or rifle, and you had to shoot the moving objects in each of the rows. The higher the row and more you shoot, the bigger the prize. I looked at Myeon-ji who was eyeing a huge stuffed dog, that had a bandana around its neck.
"You want that one?" I said, pointing to it.
She was like a little kid, nodding quickly and jumping up and down.
I paid the man at the counter and took the toy or fake gun. All I had to get was 7 shots on either the top or middle rows to get one of the big prizes. The first shot was close but a miss, while the second was dead on in the top row. The final outcome was 8 shots hit, which was a definite win for me.
"Congratulations! Which one would you like?" He asked cheerfully.
Myeon-ji pointed to the dog and he happily complied. As soon as she got the plush she squeezed it tight with a huge smile on her face. Seeing her happy made me happy.
"Come on, let's go win some and go on some rides," I said, kissing her gently, leading her towards all the other games and rides we could do for the whole night.
She nodded running around like a 6 year old at their first theme park/carnival, while I followed her around with a permanent smile.
