Min-joon's POV
I wake up on my side, slowly opening my eyes to see Myeon-ji sleeping soundly beside me, her face towards me. A sleepy smile spread across my face, as I wrapped my arm around her pulling her closer towards my chest. I closed my eyes, embracing her with my warmth and of course the blankets. Small groans sounded from under me, earning a slight grin from me. She huddled into my chest and hugged my waist tightly, relaxing under the sheets. It was so peaceful.
Although it was very calm, I had to get up and take a shower. Quickly but carefully, I got out of bed grabbed a towel to put around my waist since I was not wearing pants. With light foot steps I walked into the bathroom, soundlessly turning the shower knobs to a warm temperature. Setting my towel on the toliet seat, I hopped into the shower when the water was just right and started to wash myself up.
After a five minute shower I got my towel, wrapped it around my waist again after drying off as much water as a could. I peeked into our room to check if Myeon-ji was awake yet, and luckily, she wasn't. A soft sigh left my lips as I walked over to my closet, silently picking out some clothes for today. The best outfit I could find was a black beanie, a dull gray t-shirt and some black jeans with a chain on the side. A black overcoat would spice up the outfit a bit for a sense of fashion, since I do need to look good.
After putting on my clothes, I went to the mirror to get some of my earrings to put on my left ear, which was my two small hoops earrings that just adds another accessory to go along with my outfit. I took my overcoat and carried it downstairs, laying it on the couch. Since I'm downstairs I might as well make some breakfast for myself and for Myeon-ji when she wakes up. I walked towards the kitchen, taking my apron on the hanger just before entering, and tied it on. The meal that will be made this morning is going to be two simple servings of scrambled eggs and sausages, accompanied by a slice or two of toast. The fridge was well stocked and filled with ingredient for future dinners and meals, so I don't need to shop for that today. Piled up in my arms was the egg carton, frozen sausages, and the bread. I carefully set them down on the counter and got my frying pan out of the oven. Soon I began cooking, and making quick haste of it too.
Ten minutes went by and I've finished breakfast for the both of us. I quickly placed tin foil over Myeon-ji's plate so that it doesn't lose all of its heat. I seasoned mine with salt and pepper, and happily chowed down on my meal.
I finished my breakfast, satisified with my cooking, and untied my putting it back on the hanger. Just so that it's not a complete mess when she comes downstairs, I cleaned up the ingredients and my frying pan. After that I went back into the living room to get my overcoat off the couch, putting on myself as it draped over past my waist. My phone sat on the coffee table in front of the couch, with just enough battery to last me another day. My phone had three new messages on it, which all came from the same person, who was my best friend. He asked me if I wanted to hang out today at the mall to do some shopping for clothes. I replied back with a yes, since haven't hung out with him in awhile now that he's the CEO of his father's company. Incredibly rich may I say, and he doesn't mind paying for me which I seriously don't want him to do, but he insists either way.
Just as I was about to leave, I remembered that I needed to leave a note to let her know that I was going to be out. I took a pen out and a sticky notepad, peeling off the yellow note from the rest of them, and started to write my little note.
Hey babe, I'm going to be out with my friend for a bit of a shopping spree. I'll be back soon don't worry ;3
P.S - Make sure to eat your breakfast I made you ;)
Love you~
After I finished, I gently stuck the note on top of the tinfoil wrap that lay on her breakfast. With that done, I readjusted my coat and went out the door to go to the mall, by walking. It wasn't that far, plus I needed an exercise for myself once in awhile.
Thirty minutes passed, and I was finally at the mall awaiting my friend who I thought was going to be here before me, considering he has any form of transportation at the tips of his fingers just by a simple dial of a phone. As I thought about that, the devil arrived as if to answer said thoughts. A sleek and well maintained limo rolled up in front of me, stopping just beside the sidewalk. The back door opened, revealing my friend in a very elegant and mature suit.
"Jeez, Jae-woo, you don't need to come looking like a model for a simple shopping trip," I said in a scowl.
He chuckled and replied, "As a CEO I gotta look good, but I could say the same to yourself."
"Stop messing with me man, I'm not THAT good looking like you," I said sharply.
"Whatever you say man. Just take the compliment, since you are good looking dumbass," He retorted.
With a sigh I said, "Let's just go and shop."
He nodded and smiled, so I returned the smile back. This is just how we are kind of, but he's a good friend nonetheless. I can always count on him to have my back, and vice versa.
Suddenly my phone vibrated from my back pocket, so I took it out and looked at the notification. It was Myeon-ji. Her text was adorable, giving me a warm feeling in my heart.
"Hey babe, thanks for breakfast this morning! When you come back you have to model all of those clothes for me ;)"
With a small chuckle I put my phone away and continued on with Jae-woo to find some fashionable clothes to buy.
