Min-joon's POV

After Jae-woo had said his good byes, Myeon-ji continued to sit on my lap as we watched a movie together. It was one of our favorite movies that we (mostly her) cries on. Although I don't cry as much as she does, when she cries it's like a 2 minute waterfall and then she's sniffling for the rest of the night. The movie was called A Silent Voice, and it has that kind of anime style, but it's not like an episodic kind of thing. It's a great movie and so sad as well, but enjoyable nonetheless.

After the movie~

When the movie was done, I picked up Myeon-ji and set her beside me so I could get up.

"What are you doing?" She asked, with a sniffle afterward.

I smiled and said, "I'm just gonna bake something for us, and then go take a nap later."

She nodded and got back to watching something else on the TV, while I went back to the kitchen and donned my apron on, ready to bake. At first I went through my mental library of pastries and goods to bake, but decided to make some mochi. Swiftly I got some ingredients out to make a simple green tea mochi, so that I can eat it with Myeon-ji and then take a nap.

After a medium length of baking time, I was finally done with my Mochi and set them on a plate on the counter. I untied my apron and started to clean up everything on the counter tops and the some of the kitchen knives that have been needing a cleaning for awhile now. I polished and sharpened each other of them, making sure they were ready for either me or Myeon-ji to slice some veggies or anything that needed a knife. As I was sharpening them, my hand slipped ever so slightly, the knife missing the sharpening tool and onto my thumb that was the most vulnerable to being cut. A sharp sting coursed through my thumb, tiny drops of blood starting to swell around the cut and down to the counter.

"Dammit," I muttered sharply, sucking the blood from my thumb before giving it a good wash.

I cleaned the knife again and placed it back in the knife block and turned around to see Myeon-ji eating one of the freshly baked mochi.

"These are really good babe," she gleamed with a mouthful of food in her mouth.

I chuckled and went over to her, kissing her forehead. I took one of the mochi's and ate it beside her.

When I was finished I turned towards the stairs, making my way towards them.

"Are going to take a nap now?" Myeon-ji asked curiously.

I answered quietly, "Yeah, I'm just a little tired after going out."

She nodded and went beside me, taking my hand as I lead her towards our room. I took off my overcoat and set it on a hanger back in my closet, and also removed my shirt, putting in the laundry basket. I was bare chested now, going onto the bed and putting my head face first in the pillow. A small giggle came from behind me, but I was to lazy to turn my head towards her.

Suddenly, Myeon-ji plops down beside me, scooting closer as she leans her head on my shoulder. I turned my head towards her and pulled her with my arm, now laying on my side. She embraced me, cuddling like a koala into my chest.

I kissed her forehead softly, closing my eyes with my arm stilled wrapped around her.
