"The other factor -the thirst for innovation- came out of the heritage of revolution and freedom."
Revolution...
In conclusion
A hemorrhage
Of heritage;
Truth and reason
Lack all treason
To build and grow
A country reaps to sow.
Take up the pieces of freedom
Splay them far and wide beneath 'em
People do what country says
Country regrets what the war slays,
Memories expanding
Demands reprimanding
A nation; united under the cause of innovation
Is like a valley in which thrives creation.
MUSINGS #8: I read the quote above from a history book. The sentence up top is not mine, disclaimer. I proceeded to write this poem (which is mine), from its inspiration.
