• he was into writing poetry when he was younger

• he didn't even want to be in the movie industry at first. He wanted to be an artist. Quentin tried painting and even drew character designs as he grew up. He even thought about going into the fashion industry

• one time he performed a magic at his high school talent show and was almost picked up by a scouting agency who were there that night

• he didn't join the robotics club in high school but he did take a few classes in college. This lead him to being able to create such realistic props and robots for movies

• he started picking up small hobbies like stop motion and studied videos on the growing attention to CGI, hoping he could soon master all forms of art by the time he got out of college

• he believes super powers such as those coming from Dr. Strange or the Fantastic Four are fake and vows to recreate them in his own way. This was pretty much what lead him to discrediting Spider-Man. He was the worst one out of the bunch, and his abilities were easy to replicate.

• Quentin graduated college with a dual degree in mechanical and chemical engineering

• during his time in college he also submitted his projects to film agencies and art galleries and was able to land a job in Hollywood as a special effects artist right off the bat.

• Quentin spent years in Hollywood, gaining fame and fortune but it wasn't enough. He didn't receive as much credit as a director or actor did, so he tried auditioning for a few casting calls. But even with his references he was not the next top Hollywood beauty, so he could not land a good acting gig.

• already having an inflated ego, he continued his work as a movie artist. There were a few incidents where Quentin had ruined a whole set and injured an actor in the process between takes. Eventually these incidents became a bit too much and he was blacklisted.

• he quit Hollywood before he got the official word of his firing. This was his first step into becoming Mysterio

• Mysterio loathes the fish bowl jokes, but he's grown numb to the teasing.

• Quentin actually enjoyed the trial and error with his costumes and powers

• Has terrible issues getting over his self-loathing

• he once created a hate blog for Spider-Man

• he can't take the heat of cyberbullying and usually falls victim to internet trolls

• one time Mysterio wrote a hate poem about Spider-Man

• Mysterio is known how to make money easily. Teaming up with other villains for a gig [especially the mafia], and selling his third rate tech. He even had a small hobby of being a day trader/stock broker.
