[babe what's going on? xx]
This was the text I'd gotten off Aston after I'd declined his FaceTime call for the fifth time tonight, 2 days before the tour was over and he was able to come home.
I didn't want to FaceTime him because my eye was still clearly bruised and the girls had gone out tonight so I couldn't get Scarlett or Nicole to quickly cover up my eye. I text Aston back telling him that there was nothing wrong, only for him to call me not a minute later.
"Babe what's up? Are you okay?"
"Ast chill, I'm fine." I giggled, putting my feet up on the coffee table as I lowered the TV volume.
"Then why won't you pick up? I've not seen you for days."
"I don't have enough battery on my phone." I lied, hoping my excuse was good enough.
"Come on Luce, you can do better than that," He laughed. "What's really going on?"
"I-"
"Are you out with the girls? Because if you are it's fine, just tell me."
"Yeah, yeah I'm out with the girls." I laughed, thank god he came up with that excuse because I never would have.
"Babe that's fine, as long as you're careful with your arm I don't care."
"I am, don't worry about my arm." I tutted as I rolled my eyes.
"I'll let you go then, I'll talk to you later yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Alright, have fun babes!"
"I will, you too."
"I'm sure I will, love you!"
"Love you too." I sighed before hanging up.
I hated the fact that I'd just lied to him but I couldn't tell him the real reason why I would pick up on FaceTime.
For the rest of the night I stuck to watching Orange Is The New Black on Netflix, it was the only decent thing that I could find. I decided on going through my notes for the fashion too, just to make sure that everything was exactly how I wanted it to be.
It wasn't until I was halfway through my notes that I realised just how big this actually is. There's going to be thousands of press there, an endless amount of celebrities, not to mention my friends and family, well, Mark and Rachel. I'm just extremely thankful that Aston said he'd come backstage with me and stay with me throughout the day or else I don't know how I'd do it.
By the end of the night, I'd made a few changes to the show but they were only minor and I'd picked out my new outfit for the show, which was another original, but it wasn't as nice as the one that I'd designed especially for the fashion show.
