We had three hours to ourselves before we were heading to my parents' house for a visit before we went to Astons mums for Christmas dinner seeing as it was pointless to cook one for just the two of us. So we spent the best part of an hour celebrating our engagement. I still can't believe he asked me, and on Christmas Day too. He can be romantic when he wants to be. And the ring was just gorgeous. It was a cushion cut diamond ring on a simple band and it was absolutely exquisite. Aston had really outdone himself.

"I guess we'd better get ready." Aston sighed, twiddling a piece of my hair around his finger as my head was lay on his chest.

"I know," I sighed as Aston took his other hand and linked it with mine loosely. "Why'd you have to propose on Christmas Day?"

"I thought it'd be romantic!" He laughed.

"It was, but now we've got to leave. Couldn't you have just done it tomorrow when we don't have to be anywhere?"

"It's Boxing Day tomorrow, I couldn't do it then."

"Why not?" I frowned, tilting my head up.

"It's football day babe, no chance."

"So I come second to football? Nice one." I laughed as I sat up, clutching the sheet above my chest.

"I didn't mean it like that, you know you're my number one." Aston said softly, resting his hand on the bottom of my back.

"Do I?" I asked, turning my head to see him sitting up too.

"Yeah!" He replied, quite high pitched as he wrapped his arms around me from behind. "Always always always!" He muttered, repeatedly kissing my cheek making me giggle.

"Ew stop it!" I giggled as I tried to worm my way out of his grip, but he just held me tighter.

"Mm..No!"

"Ast!..Did you just lick me?" I giggled after feeling a weird wet sensation on my cheek.

"Maybe."

"You're gross." I laughed as he eventually stopped kissing my cheek.

"Now, that's no way to talk about your fiancé."

"Oh yeah, you're not my boyfriend anymore."

"And you're not my girlfriend..So when do I get to call you my wife then?"

"I thought you said that we didn't have to get married straight away?" I frowned, turning my head to the right slightly.

"Well we don't, but don't you want something to look forward to?"

"And we do, we've just not set a date for any time soon."

"Okay." Aston said simply before throwing the sheet off him and climbing out of bed.

"'Okay', that's it? Just..okay?" I frowned, watching him slip some clean underwear on.

"Sure, why? What do you want me to say?"

"You're okay with not getting married right now?" I asked as I got out of bed myself.

"Yeah, babe like I said when I proposed; I don't care when we get married as long as we actually get married someday." He shrugged as he grabbed a towel out of the cupboard ready for his shower.

"Are you sure?" I frowned, slipping some underwear on myself.

"Luce seriously, it's fine, we're engaged so I know where we are." Aston smiled, coming over to kiss my cheek before heading into the bathroom.

I sighed before getting my own towel out of the cupboard and heading down to the main bathroom down the hall to use the shower in there. And surprisingly I was finished before Aston but then again, he does take about twenty minutes in the shower. Once I got back into our bedroom I got my hair dryer out and made sure that my hair was bone dry before plugging my straighteners in and going to the wardrobe to pick out my outfit, settling on my faded skinny ripped jeans, my favourite River Island cropped black shirt and my black Louboutins, that I left out in the wardrobe.

I got my hair finished just as Aston came out of the shower, one towel around his waist and using another to dry his hair.

"How about a year?" I asked, leaving my straighteners to cool down.

"What?" He laughed, sitting on the end of the bed.

"Getting married, how about a year?"

"Babe I said-"

"I know what you said but maybe it's not so bad."

"It's up to you Luce, I'm ready whenever you are." He shrugged as I sat down next to him.

"So we can start planning soon then?"

"Sure, if that's what you want." Aston said, pressing a kiss against the side of my head as he slowly linked our fingers together and held my hand tight. "One thing about this wedding."

"What?"

"It's not a pink theme."

"I dunno, I think you'd look cute in pink." I giggled as he squeezed my hand.

"No chance, if it's pink then I'm not coming." He laughed, as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"How about blue?"

"Yeah right," He scoffed, twiddling with my engagement ring. "Come on, let's get ready." He said quietly after a minute, kissing my forehead before we both got off the bed and got ourselves dressed to go to my mums.
