I was to late, I ran to the edge and saw her figure scattered on the rocky ground. I ran crying, back to the mansion.
Time skip
I kicked open the doors and ran into the house ignoring all the questions that flew at me. I grabbed the handle to Slenders office and quickly turned it running in, "dear god Jack what the hell?!" Then he saw my tears, he kneeled by me "what happened?" "S-Shes gone" if he had a face he would give a confused look. "Who? Hatter?" I nodded and he hugged me, it was uncomfortable and he sensed that. He teleported away and I left the room, closing the door behind me, I needed a break so I decided to go out and murder some kids.
