Back story:

When Andel was born he was missing a part of his face to which he was told to wear a mask since his parents can't afforded surgery on him.

One night he heard a noise thinking it's a robber, so he went to check it out with his bat in hand. When the person was close he hit them. It turned out to be his father he killed.

After his father death his mother became aggressive not in a beating way just in words.
