Chapter 5: Disaster

          "Female ghost?" Lu He Nian repeated, like he had heard something ridiculous, "I remember that we recruited Qin Wen Tao from the capital's most prestigious university, is that correct?"

　　"Correct, we recruited him four years ago." The secretary nodded, subconsciously shrinking his body. He began to regret conveying this kind of brainless speech on behalf of Qin Wen Tao.

　　Still talking about a female ghost? You went up the mountain to carry out construction, why not say that you had come across a mountain god instead!

　　"Take care of the cultural protection unit first." Lu He Nian raised his head and with a cold face briefed several issues. Then he waved his hand for his secretary to withdraw.

　　The secretary meticulously recorded the director's requirements, humbly stood up and hurriedly left the director's office. Only when he had finally returned to his own office could he relax and let go of his breath. He had been at Chief Lu's side for five years but he still could not adapt to his powerful aura.

　　Lu He Nian's brows wrinkled. He was contemplating the matter when the cellphone on his office table rang.

　　He took it and saw his mother, Jiang Shu Hua's number on the screen. Lu He Nian paused, but in the end he still connected the phone.

　　"Mum, I told you already, I won't go to the blind date set up by the Jiang family. If you actually like Jiang Si Si, ask Jiang Yan to go." Once the line was connected, Lu He Nian spoke right away.

　　"This smelly boy, where do I like Jiang Si Si!" Madam Jiang Shu Hua sounded unsatisfied at the other end of the line. "Jiang Yan is not like you, he was popular in school. You as his cousin don't need to worry with the matter of him finding a girlfriend."

　　Lu He Nian: "......."

　　Seeing that his son didn't speak, Jiang Shu Hua returned to the topic, "I called you not because of the blind date matter."

　　"Then what is it about?"

　　"Actually it's still concerning Jiang Si Si," Jiang Shu Hua sighed before continuing, "I just received information that this morning Jiang Si Si fell from the second floor and broke her leg."

　　Lu He Nian did not react. What was the relation between Jiang Si Si falling and breaking her leg with him? He then heard his mother continue: "Originally I thought there wouldn't be any problems, Mr Zhang had already counted her name and said that it is excellent. She has a long and healthy life. Why after arranging a blind date with you something bad occurred?"

　　Jiang Shu Hua was disappointed, it wasn't because she liked Jiang Si Si but simply because after so many years, it was with great difficulty that she finally found a person whose numerology would fit her son's. Still thinking there might be hope that she could hold a grandson. She didn't expect that there would be an accident before the blind date could be carried out.
