Chapter 4

Toya's POV

I woke up to Reign tugging on my sheets .

" Mommy , Mommy , Mommy ?"

" Yes Reigny ?"

" I hungry !"

I got up out my bed and checked the time . It was 6:29 . Why is she up this early .

I went downstairs . Reginae was nowhere to be found . I guess she stayed the night with Lucci . Good . Sick of hearing them do the damn bedroom
boom in my house . My daughter's getting play and i'm here with nothing .

I connected my phone to my speaker and played some music while I cooked for Reign .

Special Kind of Fool by Basic Black began to play . Boy I felt every lyric .

" I don't ask any questions ,Cause I'm afraid of the truth ,It really don't make no difference , Because I'm going to be right there for you " I sang .

"Mommy , shhhhhh"

" Sorry baby" I chuckled , continuing to fix Reign's breakfast .

I finally got done and sat Reign in her high chair . She began eating and making a huge mess . Kids . I tell you . They're something serious .

After she was done eating , I cleaned up her mess and took her upstairs . Hopefully she would go back to sleep so that I could too .

After about an hour of fighting with her , she went back to sleep . I went into my room and laid down . It was now 8:43 . I had another meeting at 11 . So I had time to nap .

I tried to sleep but I just couldn't bring myself to it . I pulled out my phone to call Tiny .

*phone rings *

Toya : Hello ?

Tiny💕 : Toya what are you doing up ? You're never up this early .

Toya : I was awaken by your niece . and Reginae wasn't here .

Tiny💕 : She must be with Lucci .

Toya : She is . I called earlier . But you wanna do something today ?

Tiny💕 : You know i'm always down . What did you have in mind ?

Toya : I was thinking bowling maybe .

Tiny💕 : Ok we can go around 5ish . I've got some stuff to do for King and Major .

Toya : Ok that'll work . I've got a meeting in about two hours and then i'm free .

Tiny💕 : Alright then . Bye love .

Tiny hung up . And I was just there . Swimming in my thoughts . Once again . I finally drifted off until about 10:00 . I didn't wanna get up but I knew that I had too .

I threw on some nice clothes . Brushed my teeth and did my hair and headed down stairs . I saw Reginae on the couch .

" What time did you get here ? "

" About 30min ago . Another meeting ? "

" Yea . I'll be back around 2 . "

I walked out of the house and to the car . I played some music and sang until I pulled up to my destination. I got out and walked into the building .

The meeting lasted about an hour . This author thing gets boring at times . The meetings are probably the worst part . Simply because I listen to my publishers talk about the same damn thing every meeting .

When the meeting was finally over I decided to go home early . I went upstairs to change clothes . I thought it would be nice to go for a run .

I put in my airpods and played my music . As I was running one of the fell out . I didn't notice until I heard someone saying ,

"Miss , Miss , Miss !"

I turned around to see a tall ,brown skinned woman with long , wavy hair .

" You dropped this mamas . I called you a million times lol . "

" I - I'm sorry . I guess I was tuned out ."

" I'm Megan , but you can call me Meg . "

"T-That's uh , nice ." I was blushing and she noticed .

" And your name ?"

" Oh right . I'm Toya . Thank you again for my podairs ."

She chuckled . " Whats funny ?" I asked .

" You called them podairs . It's airpods ma . "

I laughed , embarrassed that I did something like that .

Megan's  POV 

I knew her name already . But I didn't want to come off as weird .

I could tell she was nervous . She was looking down at the ground .

" Pick your head up . Pretty girl like you shouldn't be so down ."

She started to blush even more .

" How about I run with you ?"

She accepted my offer and we continued to run . Finally , after what seemed like forever , we were back at her house .

" You live out here ? " she asked .

" Yea about two blocks from here " I answered . " Well I appreciate you inviting me in for water . "

" No problem . "

I started to walk out of the door , but before I walked out I turned around to ask her a question .

" aye , maybe I could get your number & let me take you out ? "

" I would enjoy that ."

I handed her my phone and she put her number in it .

" I'll text you . "

Ok y'all . Now I know that it's a weird couple combination buttttttt💀💀 . They're two of the finest women so I mean why not imagine😭 . They need more stallion books on here anyways😭 .
