Chapter 8

Toya's POV

We finished dinner and headed to her car .

She was very generous . She wouldn't let me open doors for myself . She pulled out the seat for me to sit and everything . The bill came out to $134.36 . She didn't even complain .

She left a $50 tip . Fifty damn dollars . Plus she was talking me to the movies . They're expensive as hell .

We pulled up to the movies and she came to my side to let me out .

We began to walk and I felt her put her arm around me . It scared me at first , but she used the same phrase she did in the car .

" Don't worry mamas , I got you ."

"You want anything from the front ?"she asked .

I shook my head no . She'd done more than enough tonight .

We went into the movie and sat down at the bottom .

" Why the bottom ?" I asked .

" I like to sit at the bottom for easy access to escape . My momma taught me that in case anything happens . "

I never thought of it that way . But now that she said it , I definitely will be .

The movie was 30min in and she was asleep . Her arm was wrapped around me and I was just laying there .

I could feel her breathing . I tried not move as much . But whenever I did , she would embrace me tighter .

After about another hour and a half , the movie was over . She was some how still asleep .

" ba- . Megan . Megan ."

She looked confused .

" Wake up . It's over love . "

She wiped her eyes .

" My bad mamas . I was trying to watch but I just couldn't take it ."

" It's fine . You ready ?"

" Yea . Let's go ."

I got up and she followed . We walked out of the theatre and to the car .

She opened my door and let me in . She then walked around to her side .

" Did you enjoy yourself tonight ?"

" I did actually. Thank you ."

" I'm glad I could help ."

We pulled up to my house . She came to let me out .

" Let me walk you to your door . "

She closed the door and followed behind me . We got up to my porch . She was about to turn around and walk back to her car but I stopped her .

" Wait ."

She turned around .

I grabbed her face and kissed her . We both pulled back and she gave me a look .

" I - I umm . I'm sorry "

" No . No . It's cool . Come back to the car . Let me take you to my house ."
