Sad Nights and Warm Cuddles

I was new to Solstheim. I recently moved in with my best friend, Teldryn, and I don't really know how I feel about it...I miss Tamriel.

I sat on Teldryn's cold bed, then laid down, waiting for him to get back home. He was out at the store getting food. I hugged his pillow, a clear to see blush rising to my cheeks. I nuzzled the pillow, warm tears welling up in my eyes.

"I miss Skryim..." I whispered to myself. I jumped away from the pillow and wiped my tears quickly when I heard the door open. I sniffled and saw Teldryn put the groceries away. He froze when he saw my tear stained face. He ran over to me.

"What's wrong?" He asked, gripping my shoulders lightly.

"It's nothing,...don't worry about me." Teldryn frowned. I saw Teldryn walk away with a little worry, but brought out a bag with mint cookies. He grabbed one and nibbled on it, making my mouth water. He noticed and smirked.

"What? These are mine." He said. I got up, but fell from tripping over Teldryn's blankets. He quickly dropped his cookie and caught me, moving closer to me. He sat me on the bed, making sure I was okay.

"You need to be more careful." He whispered a little harshly. Before he could stand up, I grabbed his wrist and pulled him down and whimpered. Warm tears rolled down my face, making Teldryn very interested in me.

"What's the matter, Y/n?" He asked sweetly. He cupped my cheeks and stroked them with his thumb.

"I m-miss Sk-Skyrim..." I whimpered. Teldryn frowned more, then hugged me. I quietly cried and felt him rub my back.

"It's okay...It's okay." He whispered in my ear. He didn't really know how to comfort me. He gently placed a kiss on my cheek, making my pink face a deeper shade. I looked at his red eyes, seeing him blush a little. He smirked at me, then we both leaned a little on the pillows. I snuggled into his chest, finally calming down. He stroked my hair, sighing. He nuzzled my hair, smiling contently.

"Can I stay in here tonight?" I asked, glancing up at him. He smiled really sweetly.

"Of course you can. You can sleep in here for however long..get as close to me as you want.." He smirked.

"U-Uh...um...no-not like that um..." My face flushed dark red. He chuckled, then brought me close, so I was on top of him. He was smirking more than usual. He leaned towards my neck and rested his head there. I felt him place a kiss on my shoulder, making me shudder. I just risked it and kissed him on the lips. He kissed back with a smile. We parted and I snuggled into him. He then moved so he was above me. He snuggled into my neck, shuddering slightly when I pulled him closer to me. I sighed, feeling a wave of exhaustion wash over me. He noticed and smiled sweetly.

"Sleep, love, we can try to visit Skyrim tomorrow." those words were the last thing I heard before falling asleep.
