Just Smile

No One's POV

    It's been two months since Iroh and (Y/N) arrived and today Bolin gathered everyone, except for (Y/N), in the dining room. "What do you want?" Jinora asked. "Ok so (Y/N) has been here for two months and not once has he smiled nor laughed." "And your point being?" "So I came up with a little game, whoever can get him to smile or laugh first will receive a favor from everyone in this room." Everyone liked the idea and thought it would be fun, so the game to make (Y/N) smile began.
    The people who thought they had the best chance were Ikki, Korra, Bolin, Meelo and Asami because they have become friends with him.
    The first person to try was Bolin and his plan was to just tell some jokes. He tried a knock knock joke, "Hey (Y/N), wanna hear a joke?" "...." " Ok then, knock knock." "..... " "Your suppose to say who's there." "....." "Nevermind. This joke will get ya. There was once a hunter and a stupid wolf that-" he stopped mid sentence after realizing what he said, "Actually forget about that one, how about-" "Continue." "W-what?" "I said continue." "I- uh- oh would you look at the time, I have to go; check on Opal."
    He went to walk away but (Y/N) grabbed his shoulder, "Opal is in the earth kingdom. Finish. Your. Joke."

Timeskip

     Everyone checked to see how Bolin did and didn't see (Y/N), but instead saw Bolin on the ground shaking, "His eyes showed nothing but anger." They all looked at each other, "Welp Bolin is out, who's next?"
    Next up was Asami and she was using Isabella to her advantage, while the others were watching from around the corner. "Hey (Y/N), Isabella wants to play with you today." Isabella brought a couple of toys for them to play with.
    The three played for a while and not once did (Y/N) smile. Isabella was petting his ears and Asami was about to give up until she felt something warm in her lap. She started petting his tail and got entranced by how warm and fluffy it was.
    He looked at the others and gave a thumbs down. Everyone sweat dropped, "He knows." They went to Iroh for help and he refused to help, "I've got nothing to gain from this game."
    While everyone was trying to figure out what to do, Jinora was baking cookies with Ikki watching her, "So what is your plan exactly?" "Everyone likes cookies, so this should put a smile on (Y/N)'s face." "I don't know if it'll work, but go for it."
    While everyone was trying to figure out what to do, Jinora and Ikki came with a tray of cookies, and (Y/N) came in after smelling the cookies. Everyone grabbed one and took a bite. Not seconds later everyone started coughing, "These have so much salt."
    Ikki started laughing while Jinora realized that she accidentally used salt instead of sugar. (Y/N) then grabbed another cookie and took a bite. Everyone just stared at him like he was crazy until he swallowed it. "These aren't that bad." He said while giving a smile. "He smiled!" Bolin shouted and everyone started cheering for some reason.
    Ikki looked at Jinora and she had a tint of red, "Y-you really like them?" He nodded confirming his statement. She handed the tray to Ikki, "I gotta go for a sec." She walked off while everyone for some reason kept cheering.
     Iroh and Ikki were just standing there, until a question came to Ikki's mind, "Hey Iroh, how many times have you seen (Y/N) smile?" "Actually i've never seen him smile before. I just didn't want to try to get him to smile again, you have no idea how many times I have tried." "Really; huh."

Timeskip

    It was the next day and (Y/N) seemed extremely happy, because his tail was wagging back and fourth excitedly today. Korra asked Iroh why (Y/N) was so happy, "Oh that's because his siblings are coming over for his birthday." "Wait what?" "Didn't I tell you he had siblings?" "No not that, its his birthday?" "Yeah."
    She went to the rest of team avatar, "Guys quick meeting. Ok so (Y/N) is turning 21 today, any guesses on what were gonna do for his birthday?" "Are we gonna go get drunk?" "Yes." "Well let's go then." Asami said. "We should do it later, his siblings are coming over today." "Ok, so tonight will drink with him."
    10 minutes later an airship landed on the island and on it was Sui, Izumi, Ganshou, and Zuko. They walked off and were greeted by everybody with Iroh greeting his mom and grandfather with a handshake while (Y/N) was hugging Sui and Ganshou.
    While they were hugging the siblings were wagging their tails rapidly with their ears perked up, but (Y/N) still had his blank face. Jinora looked at the three, "That is so cute." "Did you say something Jinora?" "No." When everyone said hello the three siblings went to an open field confusing everyone except for Iroh's family.
    Just then they started fighting with Ganshou sending waves of fire at each of them. Sui used her water bending to block his fire and turned it into ice to attack the two. (Y/N) would easily dodge their attacks and after a while he was able to get close enough to Ganshou and punched his brother in the gut. Afterwards Sui sent a fury of ice cycles his way, but he dodged all of them and went to attack. When he got close enough he went to grab Sui, but she had other ideas, "You should always pay better attention brother." Just then the ice cycles from before came from behind (Y/N) and turned into one big body of water, then freezing (Y/N). "I win!" Sui declared.
    Everyone just watched what happened dumbfounded until Izumi explained that when they all saw each other, they would have a fight to keep from getting rusty. When they got hit once or immobilized they would be out.
    The three went back to everyone else and when they got closer they realized that (Y/N) barely missed the ice cycles. His upper clothes got torn up showing some of his chest and abs. Jinora noticed and without realizing kept staring while everyone else talked until a hand was waved in front of her face. It was revealed to be Asami, "You see something you like?" "What, no!" "Suurrre." Ganshou slapped (Y/N)'s shoulder, "We should probably get you some new clothes man."
    For the rest of the day the three siblings spent the day together catching up on what they've been up to. (Y/N) showed them around and a really good restaurant. There was one time where they spent half an hour letting little children pet their tails and ears. Except for (Y/N), when a child went to pet him he would avoid every one of them.
    When they arrived back at the temple team avatar stole (Y/N) for the night so they could drink to his birthday.
