| "Transformation" | Blake Richardson

♡ c h a p t e r ~ 5 ♡

I wake up to the sound of the shower running and the water hitting the ground. The cold air snaking up to my body and I shiver, reaching for the blanket and pulling into over my head. My eyes still shut until I realise where I am and I jolt up and check my phone for the time. Phew, it's only just gone 6 am. I plug my phone on charge and grab a bottle of water from the mini-fridge, soon the noise from the shower gets quieter and I realise I have no clothes for school today. The bathroom door opens and Blake comes out with his messy hair and only pants on. "Shit sorry, I thought you were asleep."  He says throwing a shirt on, "It's okay I only just got up. I kinda forgot to bring clothes well I didn't actually think I would be staying here overnight." I say. "Oh erm...here!" Blake says rummaging through his suitcase and passing me a shirt and a hoodie. "Thank you," I say quietly and head towards the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for the day. 

I find Blake sitting on the bed scrolling through social media while I put some of my things back in my bag and he says "Did you wanna meet up with the guys? Grab some breakfast this hotel has some pretty good buffet." I smile and agree, we all meet up at the buffet and take a seat. Reece, George, Blake and I all go up while Dean and Ben sort out getting a table and I grab some muffins, fruit and a piece of toast while the boys have all gone for a fried breakfast. "Healthy girl, I see?" George says while shoving some bacon into his mouth. "George where have those manners gone mate," Reece says. "Oh sorry mother, are we at a dress code restaurant too?" George fires back. Blake chuckling at the sight of the two boys glaring at each other, all fun and sarcasm of course. The table discussion is mostly about the boys doing press today and a photoshoot tomorrow, as we finish up the breakfast I grab my things and decide to start making my way to school. Usually, to get home from town I'd take the bus route so thats what I plan on doing thinking ahead I want to leave early cause it will take a while. I give a hug to everyone and make my way out to the lobby until I hear those very familiar footsteps again. Spinning around I see Blake looking straight at me, "Deja vu I see?" I see with a smile, and he chuckles. "Listen um, I don't want you having to take the bus which will probably take forever so I can take an Uber with you to school?" Blake says, "Really? That'd be great thank you so much, but you don't have to Uber with me you know." I say putting my bus pass away, "But I want too." He says with a tone of red on his face and soon my face blushes as well. 

The Uber ride wasn't long compared to the bus but the early morning traffic took us a little longer to get to my school. I hop out and Blake has a quick chat to the Uber driver and jumps out as well. "Thank you, Blake, for taking me to school," I say pushing my hair back. "No problem hanging out with you was fun," Blake says with a wink. "It really has been, maybe another time?" I suggest and he nods. We hug and he gets back into the Uber and drives off, I turn around and notice everybody insight is looking at me. I quickly enter the school grounds and see Sadie and Harper waving me over. "Did I seriously just see what I think I saw?" Harper says and I blush. "IS THAT... HIS HOODIE?!" Sadie says looking at me wide-eyed. "Did you..." Harper says with a smirk. "No! Nothing like that happened!" I specify. I tell them everything that did happen though. "Wait HE PUT HIS ARM AROUND YOU?!" I listen to them freaking out more than me for a good 10 minutes. The day goes pretty slow if I'm honest and when it's lunchtime I'm pretty glad, my phone pings and I check it
