♡ c h a p t e r ~6 ♡

I place my backpack on the carpeted floor in my bedroom and flop onto my bed, overwhelmed by these last few days. I focus on getting my last essay finished off and once I've done that I go to eat dinner with my parents.

As I sit on my bed scrolling through social media a notification pops up which instantly makes me smile. 

INCOMING FACETIME CALL FROM "BLAKE"

I accept the call and see Blake's messy hair. "Hey, Maddie." He spoke, "Hey, you off to bed already?" I ask. "Just working on some things, lazy night what you been up to?" He says in his strong Manchester accent. "Not a lot, homework mostly," I admit. "Oi oiiiiiii" I hear and then Blakes phone falls. "The fuck was that for!" I hear a tired Blake yell. "Sorry, mate didn't realise it was ya girlfriend you were speaking too." Reece picks up the phone "Hi Maddie!" I laugh. "Hi Reece, hope you're not bullying Blake." I hear a crash and a few "ouches" over their end and Reece turns the phone around and George has jumped onto the bed and landed on top of Blake. "Maddie help me." I hear Blake cry out from underneath the covers. "We wouldn't do such a thing!" Reece says and laughs. "Come on mate lets leave them to have all the lovey-dovey conversations," Reece says to George passing the phone back to Blake. I watch in amusement as Blake puts up his middle finger to them then I hear a door shut. "Sorry about them," Blake says. "It's okay it was really quite entertaining," I say. " Not very entertaining for me!" Blake says and we both smile. We talked for a couple of hours about everything and anything, he's such a great person to talk too and I didn't even realise it was midnight until he said. We have planned to spend the week together starting from Saturday, showing him and the boys around the city and just hanging out. We were both nearly about to fall asleep, "Blake I should get some sleep and you should as well." I say. "Yeah... okay. Goodnight Maddie, love you." He says and I freak, did he just? "Goodnight Blake. Talk in the morning." I say and end the call. Did he just... say he loved me? Wait no he didn't mean it, we've only known each other for like 2 days. I begin to freak out and instead of messaging Harper or Sadie which I usually would I search through my contacts list.
