"Nine more hours to go," I gently breath out with the least bit of excitement.

"oh, nice," San sighs looking out the window slumped across his seat with his chin resting on his folded arms. His expression is blank he looks like he's lost, drifting off with the clouds.

I roll my head around my shoulders and watch as the earth gets further away. This is how I feel with my feet on the ground.

When I am inches from people I feel as though I'm thousands of feet away above the clouds, so distant. So alone

"Hey you okay?" Seonghwa grabs my shoulder snapping me from my trance.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I fake a smile at him then shift back to the window.

"Bull crap Hana, we know you to well to believe you when you say you're fine," San says across from me. I roll my head back and stare at him.

"What," I toss my hands up at him, "what do you want me to say? That I don't want to go home? That I wish this was a dream? That I want the plane to crash? Because those have all gone through my mind." The two just look at me blankly.

"That's what I've been thinking about," Hwa says leaning back into his seat, "We can't go back to our normal lives."

"We don't know anything that's happened. It's scary. World War III could be going on and we have no idea," San adds in.

"If this plane could crash on some remote island where we would never have to know if our family is alive or if everyone easily moved on," Seonghwa says strongly hitting me deeply.

"I didn't think you two would understand," I shy away.

"We went through deep sh*t together we all most likely think the same now."

"I agree with San."

"When we first got taken you would've killed to get back home but seeing you now Mars," he looks away as I speak to him.

"Trauma changes people."

"We have all gone through a lot of it. Alone and together. But we will get through this together no matter what happens when we land we will stick by each others side," San preaches.

"Is that a promise?" I smirk at him.

"Lets all promise to stay together no matter what," Seonghwa sticks his hand out.

"Promise," I smile to the two linking pinkies.

"Promise," San says sealing our deal.

Being able to walk around on the plane and lay down helped with the long flight. I was stuck in a small space letting my mind run wild.
One of the escorts gave us a tablet and the wifi so we could try to catch up on the events we missed out on.
"Woah, President Moon resigned," Seonghwa gasps.
"Does it say why?" I question his statement.
"No. It was right after we were taken too."
"That's weird. Anything else big we miss out on?"
"BAP got back together," San cheerfully adds.
"No way!" i grab the tablet from him and read the article about my former ult.
"God i hope they moved companies," Seonghwa sighs and i agree with him.
We spent hours trying to catch up on what we've missed. Also learned it's been nearly a year and a half since we were taken. We had no way of keeping time in that place but it didn't feel like a whole year...
"I wonder if I still have my jobs," Hwa speaks up.
"You should go to med school, take this as a second chance," strongly i say to him making him look up at me.
"Yeah nothing the same we aren't even the same anymore we should do what we always wanted to do. I want to open a cafe," San joins in helping my point.
"Would you want a doctor with PTSD?" he looks at us like we are stupid.
"You can get through it you can help and understand people like us," i push back.
"Waking up from that coma surrounded by those doctors, i can't do that. You don't know what they did to me," he fights and i sit back and remember seeing him thrash against the doctors before i went back out of consciousness.
"I'm sorry, i forgot about that," softly i say trying to soothe him. He holds onto his arms cradling himself.
"It's- it's okay."
