Continuation from last time

"Irene hasn't been that mad since Sungjae tried to get back together with Joy at the end of last year," Jinyoung commented

"I know," Mark agreed, "I wonder what's up."

"I'm going to talk to Seulgi," Jisoo muttered walking away from the group to go meet her newfound friend

Jisoo spotted her by the pond, trying to learn how o skip a rock. Jisoo watched her from afar for a moment, looking at the girl throwing rocks into the pond. "It's like this," Jisoo appeared from behind after seeing Seulgi's failed attempts. The dance stared in awe at the rock Jisoo had just thrown, as it skipped the water 5 times.

"That was cool," Seulgi told her, completely mesmerized about the fact that Jisoo could skip rocks. "Where'd you learn?" She asked the said girl. Seulgi considered Jisoo a pro. No one could skip a rock I've timed out of nowhere. Not to mention, Jisoo had also said that she's never went camping before.

Jisoo shrugged, "it's just a skill I guess."

It was awkward between the two girls for a moment. Silence entering their conversation. Jisoo rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly and coughing. Seulgi just looked at her feet. She knew that what she did earlier was petty.

"Can I ask why you left earlier?" Jisoo asked her friend. The girl nodded as she sat by the pond, patting the spot beside her for Jisoo to sit.

"I know you're new and you joined just Sophomore year, but everyone knows that I have a HUGE crush on Jinyoung," she explained

Jisoo nodded, "how does everyone know?" Seulgi went on to explain how she made her crush obvious, not on purpose, of course. The said woman continued to talk about how she would shoo all the girls that talked or confessed to Jinyoung. When Jisoo asked why Seulgi never confessed, the girl shrugged.

"I wasn't sure if he likes me back," she explained, "I don't think I'm ready to get my heartbroken."

"I see . . ." Jisoo muttered

"But when you and Jinyoung were holding hands, that meant nothing right?" Seulgi asked just in case. I mean, Jisoo barely knew the guy and had just entered the school around a month ago. She was quick to answer the question, but to be honest, she didn't know the answer herself.

"It didn't mean anything, don't worry," Jisoo convinced the girl. Seulgi let out a sigh of relief and smiled at Jisoo. "Thank goodness I won't have to make you disappear too," Seulgi smiled. Jisoo stared at her weirdly. She was actually afraid Seulgi killed people.

Seulgi giggled, "I was kidding. I just wanted to get a reaction out of you." This time, it was Jisoo turn to sigh. A comforting silence overtaking them.

"What year were you born?" Jisoo asked her

"94', you?" Seulgi asked

"95' that makes you my unnie," Jisoo smiled

"No. Seulgi told her sternly. It'll make me feel old," she explained. The two girls went on to talk about themselves. By the time Lisa found them, they were already best friends. Jisoo noticed herself changing. A year ago, if you told her she made friends with someone like Seulgi, who she wasn't supposed to know, she would laugh and call you stupid. If you told her that a week ago, she would smile and immediately approach Seulgi.
