"Why do you have to be such an asshole" Jessie hisses at me, making me groan out, not again. I asked if Jessie was feeling alright because she was really pale, and she started to yell at me

"I'm an asshole for wanting to make sure my mate is okay, wow", I state, not really wanting to get mad but knowing full well my wolf doesn't like her attitude

"just go away. I can't look at you right now", she hisses, rolling over in bed; I walk out of the bedroom and into the hall and sit in the hallway; the pack is used to these fights; she fights with everyone now, and the sicker she is getting in the pregnancy, the more she is fighting everyone

'come back, I need to the pack doctor', she cries into the mind link; I immensely jump up and rush into the room

"what's wrong" I question. She points at the spot on the bed where she is lying, walking closer I notice the blood

'doctor gets ready; Jessie is bleeding', I yell in the link before carefully picking her up and rushing to the hospital ward of the house.

"It looks like your son wants out; Jessie has gone into premature labour; we are going to induce her now; the chances of your son's survival are 20 to 35 per cent if Jessie was human, but because of being a wolf, your son has a 50% chance, normally I would try and keep the baby in but because Jessie is bleeding there is a high chance the placenta is also detaching," the doctor says both I and Jessie nod our heads in understanding, our son is only 24 weeks gestation, so this is very scary for us.

I stare in shock at how strong Jessies hold on my hand is as she pushes our son out; she has been inactive labour for two hours and is finally able to push him out.

"alpha, luna, congratulations", the doctor smiles at us before using the baby away to be cleaned and put on oxygen.

"You did it, baby", I smile, kissing her head softly

"your son is very healthy, he does need oxygen, but he is showing amazing progress already", the doctor smiles while wheeling over a mini-unit that holds our son

"his name is jake" she smiles at our son, a tear in her eye.

"Everyone meets jake", I smile at everyone in the room. All of Jessie's friends are here, including her adoptive parents

"he's beautiful; he will make an amazing alpha" Austin smiles at us, and I just nod

"tell the warriors the fight is tomorrow", I growl out softly, not wanting to wake Jake up in his tiny unit.

"is Jessie able to fight?" tony questions making me nod

"yes, the doctor cleared her to fight" I smile, already knowing he is wondering if we will win or loose
