Bucky// At Least Try

Y/N's POV

"I literally don't know what to do?" I said looking over the edge of the balcony seeing a knocked out Stark and Widow on Bucky's shoulders in attempt to do some harm to him. We had found traces of Bucky and we've finally caught up to him, only issue is he forgot us again. "Vision, give me a lift" I said as I balanced on the railing. I grabbed Visions arm as he flew above Bucky who was running away. I landed right in front of him making him freeze. "C'mon Buck, at least try to remember us" I said.

After the whole airport in Germany crisis Tony finally realized that Bucky wasn't himself and forgave him for the incident with his parents. That mainly changed recently when Nat, Bucky, And I were going on a Hydra mission and someone recognized Bucky and said the words. That was a little over a month ago, now we had the whole team trying to track him and a few Hydra bases down at the same time.

"I don't know you" He snarls before trying to throw a punch at me. I caught his fist making his eyes go wide. "It's me Bucky, (Y/N), I was one of the nurses during the war, I Introduced you to Steve, you remember him right?" I asked as I sweeped my leg under him making him fall to the ground but he automatically got up. "We both took the winter soldier serum" I said blocking his punches again and kicking his stomach making him stumble back. "You're doing good (Y/N) he's getting weaker" Nat said slowly getting up. Bucky did as well and I took the advantage of getting him in the Black Widow position.

I pulled back on his metal arm while my right leg was behind his neck pinning his right arm back and my left leg was linked around his. "So you're Hydra's traitor" Bucky groans falling to one knee. "We used to train together, you nicknamed me Spider Monkey cause I would pull moves like this on you but your pet nickname for me was (N/n)" I said pulling his arm back. Bucky slammed himself forward causing me to fly off him and roll on the ground. "God damnit James Buchanan Barnes I'm your fucking girlfriend!" I yelled officially annoyed. Bucky froze long enough for Vision to hit him with the mind-stone. Tony scrambles up off the ground using his suits technology to hold Bucky back. "We got Bucky" Nat said over the com. "We're almost done here" Steve groans. "Almost is an understatement Cap" Sam said. "Uh could you guys by any chance help us here" Wanda asked. "Let me go" Bucky said quietly. "Not until we get you back to-" "God fucking Damnit Stark let me go so I can go to my girlfriend" Bucky snarls. Tony looked at me and I held up a hand for him to wait. "Tell me something only James knows" I said. He chuckled shaking his head. "You're middle name is (M/n). I nodded at Tony who released his grip on Bucky who automatically got up. He took his hydra comm out smashing it on the ground. He slowly walked over to me setting his metal hand around my waist, James knows it's my favorite thing when he uses his metal arm more than his normal one. "There's my soldier" I grinned. "There's my princess" He teases.  "What can I do to help?" He asked the portion of the team that I had with me. "Steve I need your second comm for Bucky, he's with us now" I said taking mine out of my pocket. "Okay in your left ear it's gonna be me talking" I said handing him the comm as he put it in his left ear. "Here you go" Pietro said handing me Steve's comm. "Welcome Back tin can" Pietro teases. "Ne preizkušaj me Road Runner" Bucky snarled making Pietro laugh. "What's he say?" Tony asked. "Don't test me Road Runner" Pietro said before running away. "Good to know you're still caught up on American Modern comedy" I teased. "Now I'm in your left Steve in your right. This way you'll hear the teams commands and everything but won't hear Hydra and if you think you hear someone start to utter the phrase tell us so we'll keep you distract while Pietro super speeds to you, okay?" I asked. "When did you get so commanding?" Bucky asked with a smirk wrapping both of his arms around my waist. "A little bit before you flung me off your back annoying me for the 1300th time" I joked. "Let's go" I said. Bucky, Nat, And I got back to the car while Vision and Tony flew as we all went back to the Hydra base. "Be careful" I told Bucky. "You too" He said pecking my lips before running off. "Is Winter Soldier on our side again?" Clint asked. "More than ever now" Nat said.

"From now on (Y/N) goes by herself on 'Retrieving Bucky' missions, all she had to do was yell at him that they were dating and he came back" Tony said. "Oh c'mon Bucky, so when I tell you we're best friends, nothing. But when (Y/N) tells you-you guys are dating you're all of a sudden back!?" Steve complains. "Sorry Cap, But I trained with her became the winter soldier with her and I sleep with her" Bucky chuckled. "We've slept together too and trained together" Steve said. "Uh not that kind of sleeping Cap" I sad after hitting a hydra soldier with the back of my gun. "Ugh hydra agents, so weak" I said to myself. "What kind of sleeping do you- nevermind" Captain said. I heard Thor laugh on his side. "You all should see his face right now" He chuckles. "Thor pack of agents to the left of you" I said running towards the rooftop. "Ah shit!" I said almost slipping as I got on the roof. "Language" Cap said them cussing at himself for saying the phrase again. "What happened what'd you do who shot you?" Bucky asked. "Wait are you not gonna tease Captain for saying Language" I laughed. "I'm more worried about you sweet thang" He said. I chuckled and did the proper duty of teasing Steve before running towards the helicopter about to take off. "Anyone up for a joyride right now?" I asked as I climbed into the helicopter. "What do you need?" Sam asked. "Help!" I groaned kicking out a Hydra agent. I look forward seeing a gun pointed at my face. "You're coming with us" The leader of the base said. I saw Red Wing fly up and Sam's voice come from it saying "Oh no she ain't, she's ours" Before shooting the rest of the men in the helicopter. "Thanks Sam" I said. "Oh don't thank me thank him" Sam said. "I'm not thanking that thing" I said. "C'mon just say it" Sams voice said getting cheeky. "Don't make me shoot you" I said holding a gun up to Red Wing. "Okay" Sam said giving up.

"Uh little issue guys." I said looking out the helicopter seeing I was really high up and I couldn't reach the controls. "You Always have an issue woman"  Pietro said. "Shut It speedy sokovian, either I stay in the helicopter and potentially crash into something and die, or I jump out and plummet to my death" I said. "Jump" Bucky said. "Wow gee thanks babe" I said sarcastically. "We've survived high jumps you'll be fine" Steve said. "Okay idiots that are outside look up" I said annoyed. "Holy- okay flyers one of you go up there and save her, she is not surviving that" Steve said. "Wow I don't know who's worse at making me feel calm and safe you or Bucky" I said sarcastically. "I've had my girlfriend back for not even 20 minutes and she's insulted me more times than I can count" Bucky said making me laugh. "We kinda cant reach her Cap, we're surrounded" Vision groaned. "Thor?" Cap asked. "Busy doing lighting stuff" Clint said followed by thunder lighting and screaming. "Vision?" He asked. "Currently being held down by agents" Nat said as I heard her snap some necks. "Tony And Sam?"  Steve asked. "Sam is dealing with a few others" Wanda said. "Okay I rather jump out and fall to my death than crash and burn" I said jumping out the helicopter. "Friday go get (Y/N)" Tony said. After a few seconds I felt Tony's suit envelope me as I landed on the ground. "Thanks Toner" I said getting out the suit. I shot the Hydra agents in front of me as Tony's suit flew back to him. "Okay I sent all the information to Hill let's blow this bad boy up" Tony said. "Yes!" I squealed. "Who has my bag" I asked. "I'm confused what's going on here." Bucky asked. Pietro zoomed by dropping my bag at my feet. "Everyone get out of there but keep the soldiers inside." Steve commands. "Okay I have the explosive ones and you have the concussive" I told Pietro. "Make sure you stick yours everywhere and I mean everywhere" I told him. He nodded having two remote concussion grenades in his hands. "I'll handle the computer room and weapons room" I said. "Someone explain to me what the hell is going on" Bucky said confused. "Your girlfriends developed an addiction to blowing stuff up" Steve said as Pietro dropped me off in the computer room before running everywhere else tossing Concussion remote grenades in random places.

"Babe can you at least try to be normal" Bucky laughed as I placed three of the explosive ones on the computers Tony was at a few minutes ago and three on the wall on the other side of the room. "Can you at least try to stop acting like we're a normal couple" I laugh. I went downstairs into the weapons room setting two on each of the four walls and the last one on the ceiling shared with the floor of the computer room. "Ooo boom boom sticks." I said excitedly grabbing the TNT. "No drop it, now" Bucky said. I pouted dropping the TNT sticks and braces myself for Pietro to pick me up. He did so running outside as I pulled out the remotes. "Wanda has it under a shield and Banner's here with the jet let's go" Steve said as everyone ran or flew towards the Quinjet. I grinned as Bucky ran up to me and I pressed the button on the remote blowing up the base. "Oh god I'm dating a psychopath" Bucky groans before we run inside the Quinjet. "Shut up you know you love me" I giggled pecking his lips. "Ew gross get a room you two" Sam and Clint whine. I smiled rolling my eyes. "I missed you Bucky" I said. "I missed you more N/n"
