Emeralds POV

"He's here" I said. My breathing picked up and I looked at Hope. "Don't worry, we got you" She said. I nodded my head and watched her shrink. Scott put a hand on my shoulder and kissed my head before shrinking as well. "I got you Emmie" I heard him say. I nodded my head I stayed on the couch fiddling with the sleeves to his hoodie. "You know you look so cute in my clothes" He said. I smiled tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. I heard banging at the front door and the door knob jiggle. "Should we help him?" Hope asked. "No let him" Scott said. After a few more minutes father finally gets the door open and falls in. "Well that doesn't look like a very efficient way to enter an apartment, but it's proven it works" Scott said making me snort a laugh. Father glared over at me making me shut up. "You think that was funny?" He snarled. "No sir" I said quietly. "You heard me fumble with the door and you didn't think of getting up to open it for me, and then you fucking laugh when I fall, ungrateful bitch" He said getting up off the floor. "My bedroom now" He said. I whimpered as I put my head down following his orders. I sat on his bed waiting for him to walk in, I watched as Hope was flying next to him. "This'll teach you to not be disrespectful" He said taking off his belt. He went to hit me with it and when I tried to shield myself with my hands he was suddenly pushed back. "Oh no you don't" Hope said. "Did you Just fucking shove me!?" He yelled. I screamed feeling the belt hit my thigh. "Son of a bitch!" Scott yelled. I watched as he grew back and shoved my dad against a wall. "Lay a fucking finger on her again I dare you, I won't hesitate going back to fucking prison if it means I can see you dead" He growled. My dad shoved him off and went to hit me again only for Hope to grow her full size and stop him. "Oh so the little slut has friends now" My dad said he reached over to his nightstand and pulled out his gun, he went to shoot Hope and Scott but they shrunk in time. The bullets went into the mirror of his dresser shattering it and the wall. "Come over here" father said grabbing a fist full of my hair in the same area he grabbed earlier. He went into the living room gun pressed against my head while wrapping an arm around my throat. "I'll fucking kill her, touch me and I'll kill her" He said. Hope and Scott grew back to their normal sized standing in front of us. "Leave, now" My father growled. Scott glanced behind us and I knew Peter was there. "She's my fucking kid I'll raise her however the fuck I want, she's mine so leave before I fucking shoot her" My dad said. I started to feel light head as I watched Hope and Scott shrink. I assumed my dad thought they teleported cause he chuckled and started to grope me making me cry. "Scott" I yelled. Father was ripped off me—Scott pinning him to the ground. Hope grabbed his gun pointing it at him white Peter webbed his arms and legs to the ground. May came over to me holding me while I cried breathing heavily. "Emerald" Wanda said. Her hand held a red glow. I nodded my head as she stepped up to my father. "Don't mess with an Avenger" She snared before making him see his biggest fear. I watched as his breathing picked up and he started screaming. When she stopped he looked at me. "Baby I'm so-" "No you don't look at her you look at me, you are going to die, sadly it's not because of me, but you're going to go away and you're not gonna think about her, ever talk to her, or try to get in contact with her do you understand?" Scott asked. My dad glared at him spitting in his face. Scott was unfazed and wiped the spit of his face. "What are you her boyfriend?" Dad asked sarcastically. "Yes, now do you understand" Scott snarled. Father looked back at me chuckling. "Who fucking knew my piece of shit daughter was capable enough to have friends let alone a boyfriend." Hope took the safety off the gun pressing it against his head. "Do It, kill me" My dad growled. "She's not the only one" Wanda told us. "What?" I asked. "He's raped other girls" She said. "There's a girl, barely 16 years old, that's why he left" She said her eyes getting watery. "You make me sick" Wanda said before leaving out the window. Hope dropped the gun following Peter right behind them. "C'mon Sweetie" May said as we got up. "Scott" I said. "He's not worth it" I told him. He nodded his head going to the four corners of the living room and the bedroom grabbing the cameras. "What? You fucking- Emerald get back here!" Dad yelled. I grabbed Scott's hand sighed as everyone waited for me at the window. I turned back to my father sticking out my right hand. "You took away my virginity at 14, my first boyfriend had just moved away and I was devastated so you said you'd make me feel better, I didn't want that, I wanted to loose my virginity at least at 18, with a man I knew I was in love with. After that first night you thought it was acceptable to do it over again and to anyone you pleased" I told him. "You 19 year old daughter is on the verge of getting her PhD, She's an Avenger that's saved people everyday, and has the capability to kill you" I said. "I hope someone makes you their bitch" Scott said. We all walked out the window and onto the roof. "How are you feeling?" Peter asked. "Free, numb, anxious, so done with life, falling down a rabbit hole sent to hell" I said. Tony landed next to me and stepped out of his iron man suit. He hugged me tightly picking me up. I broke down in his hug. "I know kid, it'll be okay, I called the cops they're on their way, I told them you'd be at the Tower with us" He whispered. "C'mon lets go" He said. I pulled away from him as I grabbed Peter's hand. Tony held May and they took the lead. Scott and Hope shrank as Hope grabbed his arm flying them to the Tower. I wrapped my arms around Peter as he swung us to the Tower. Wanda levitated herself taking the lead. When we got there everyone was still awake. "It's Three in the morning you guys" I told them. "We know" Steve said. "Are you okay?" Pietro asked. "Feeling a little bit numb" I admitted. "Maybe we can change that?" Tony suggested. "Tomorrow night, a party, just the avengers and a few shield agents, well even invite Loki" He said making me smile. It's been forever since I've seen the god of mischief and I missed him. "That sounds like fun" I said. "Pepper got the custody papers, tomorrow you're gonna be a Stark" He said. I laughed shaking my head. I looked up at Scott who was holding my hand. "Thank you" I said wrapping my arms around him. "For what?" He asked. "Everything" I told him. He wrapped his arms around my waist before I pulled back. "So you're my boyfriend huh?" I teased. He chuckled shaking his head. "Will you-" "yes" I said. "I didn't even get to finish" He laughed. "Oh my god just kiss already" Sam said coving his eyes and Cassie's. I glanced over seeing everyone do the same. I smiled shaking my head at them. I looked up at Scott who had the same expression I did. "You don't have to, i know you might have some ptsd from-" I cut him off by softly pressed my lips against his. It wasn't a long kiss but it was comforting. "It will take me some time to get comfortable doing, you know, but as long as I have you I think I'll be fine" I said. He smiled kissing my forehead. "Still falling down the rabbit hole?" He asked. "Still on my way to wonderland" I said.
