Blue had just saved your skin during a hand gun robbery. (i know cliché, i don't knowww..)

You said smirking, a hand on your hip.

"Um.. what do you mean.."

Jamie was getting nervous. And you could tell by his movements.

"I know."

"Um.. know what exactly?"

"Your identity."

"What?!"

Jamie was shocked! How? His best friend and crush knew his identity! But how? How could you know?!

"Your probably wondering, "Oh god! How does she know?!" It's pretty simple really,"

Your smirk growing, walking towards him.

"Kill her.. this girl, she knows to much.."

Scarab said to Jamie.

"What no, she's innocent, and-and beside maybe she could be lying!"

You looked at him confused.

"Wait, what is going on?"

"Oh.. uhhhh... there's this,"

"Thing? On your back right?"

"How! How do you know that?!"

You ignore his question,

"What did it say?"

"It.. uh.."

"Yees?"

You raised your eyebrow, waiting.

"It said, to uh.. k-kill you.."

"Huh.."

"Huh" That's all you have to say?! It wants me to kill you don't you care?!"

"I mean, if I had the scarab, it would probably want me to do the same thing, yes?"

"Oh! I'm not talking to you, Jaime, I'm talking to your scarab."

"... The girl... is right."

Jamie was shocked.

"Well before,"

Jamie pointed to you and then to his back,

"This happened. You said "It was simple." What do you mean by that?!"

You smile.

"Well first off, the whole disappearing in class and then Blue Beetle comes to save the day thing."

You hold up a one with your finger.

"Second, you showing up covered in bruises, which by the way you cover up poorly with makeup. Totally not your strong suit."

You now holding up two fingers up.

As if Jamie could be anymore shocked, he is.

"And third, always canceling our study "dates",

You use air quotes,

"-or just plan out cancelling on hanging out.

Having three fingers up, then putting your hand by your side continuing talking.

"We're best friends, Jamie.. (even if it hurt you to say so, having a huuge crush on him) You should know how I could have easily figured it out."

Jamie knew you were right somehow. He just didn't want to admit it to hisself.

"..."

Jamie couldn't bring himself to say it out loud. He took a breath, to regain himself.

"..You're right.."

You looked up, shocked.

"What really?! Wait you're... you're being serious right now? Because I was only, like, 67 percent sure."

Jamie looked at you, like 'seriously?!'.

"Yes. (Y/n), I'm Blue Beetle."

His mask sheds away, showing his face to reveal himself.

Your eyes go wide.

"J-jamie.."

You walk forward.

"It's really you.. it's- it's true.. your Blue Beetle."

Your hand reaches up to his face, you put your hand on his cheek.

You both lock eyes just staring into each other's eyes.

"I.."

Jamie starts but just stops and keeps looking into your eyes, walking closer to you and moving a loose hair from your face.

Your eyes seem to trail off, and look down at his lips.

He does the same.

The both of you lock eyes again and slowly lean in.

Your lips finally meet his and you both melt into the kiss.

His hands slowly and nervously slid his arms around your waist.

You put your hands around his neck, playing with his soft black hair.

You guys are just staying there in the cool, snowy air around the two of you, enjoying the moment between the two of you.
