I like songs and artists from 20 years ago, some songs from the 90s and some from the 80s. For example: Tupac Shakur, Bob Marley, Whitney Houston, the old Beyonce, a Destinys Child song, Michael Jackson. Songs that had deep meanings back in the day, that inspired and motivate people, talking about lessons that the musician learned in life, songs that make you happy, songs that make you sad, think, redirect your life, songs that gave hope, purity, songs like " Stand By Me" by Ben E King, Marvin Gaye.
I believe that there are still good singers nowadays but the majority talks about selling drugs, money, girls, a nigga that cheat on me, girls demostrating that they are better than the other female, that she is the "bad bitch", singing about the girl he fucked, goldigging, sex, the "I have more money than you and I am better than you"
We have the Cardi B's, Migos's, Lil pump's, Lil Xan's, lils everything, the Blueface. I know that back in the day there were also bad musicians with bad music but I feel like nowadays the songs just sound the same, like they speak the same things. I feel like music is not the same anymore, I know that each generation is diffferent but ya feel me. Like we have a bunch of trash singers that just wanna make money and no effort. Music is just so recycled
