We got out the car and we where heading towards his front door.

"Your parents won't mind right?" I asked concerned.

"Yes my parents will be cool with it, it's only my mom right now because my dad is on a business trip, and my fourteen year only brother. He said as he got his house keys from his pocket.

"Must be nice having a sibling" I sighed.

"Oh hell no there a pain in the ass" he over exaggerated. And I just laughed at him.

He opened the door and we walked in.

"MOM IM HOME" He screamed.

"And I have a guest that will be staying the night" he said in a normal voice.

"What the hell mijo" she slapped his cheek. "I  was worried sick you wouldn't answer my calls" she said as she hugged him. I tried to hold back my laugh but a little snort came out my mouth.

"Hola soy Verónica Timothy's mom y tu mija?" Susie asked.

"I'm uh Violet uno de Timothy's amigos"I smiled awkwardly as Timothy raises an eyebrow at me confused and shocked.

"Oh well nice to meet u hun we have leftovers in the fridge from today's dinner if you would like some" she smiled with a small Mexican accent.

"Yes please" Timothy said in a sing songy tune then grabbed my hand and pulled me toward him.

"Look pasta!" Timothy said excitedly and I just giggled.

"You wants some it's the best I swear she makes the noodles herself and everything" Timothy tried to convince me to have and boy did it work.

"Ya I'll get some where are the plates" I said while opening cupboards.

"There in the cupboards top left" he said while getting the leftovers. I went to the cupboards and got two plates and walked by him.

"I didn't know you talked spanish" he said surprised.

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me" I raised a brow. While he chuckled.

"Also I didn't know you where Hispanic" I said.

"It's my eyes right I got them from my dads side, lots of people don't expect me to Hispanic they just think I'm a mix between black and white when I'm actually Hispanic and black" he laughed.

"I mean there not wrong" I smiled.

"So who taught you spanish?" He asked curiously.

"Well um actually... my dad was Costa Rican and he talked a lot of spanish" I sighed.

"Talked?" He looked me dead in the eye.

"Ya he passed away when I was twelve" I said blinking rapidly so my tears wouldn't fall out. He looked straight at me, I guess he could see the glossiness in my eyes.

"Hey it's okay you don't have to worry at all today becauseeee where gonna get littt" he twirled around me and opened the microwave that cooked up our pasta. And I smiled at him, darn him and his charming little smile.

"Well dinner is served!" He said excitedly while digging in.

I looked at my plate of Alfredo pasta it had lots of vegetables and chicken something I've never tried before.

"You gonna eat it or just look at it" he looked at me.

I smiled and took a bite, I didn't realize I was so hungry till now I finished the pasta as soon as I got it.
