You and your boyfriend Bradley have been dating for a while now but still you get flashbacks and awful memories of your past relationship, the guy you used to date was abusive mentally and physically, he called you names, he cheated on you, he hit you and he kicked you. But you've not told brad yet there's no reason why you just didn't want him to be upset or treat you differently. You and brad are in Tesco buying food and all the essentials until suddenly a familiar person is walking towards you, you recognise the evil grin, the dark piercing eyes and the creepy chuckle. It's your ex. He's walking towards you and brad but you remain frozen with fear it's as if you've forgotten how to move
"Y/n baby what's wrong?" Brad Asks as he takes hold of your hand
"Ehh-ehh" you stutter and then your ex walks over to you with the evil chuckle escaping his lips
"Haha got any good punches yet mate?" He Asks Brad which makes your heart stop thinking about all the times he hit you and took his anger out on you
"What?" Brad Asks and you rub your wrists accidentally
"She's a good punch bag isn't she?" Your ex says to brad and you take his hand and walk away
"What was that about?" Brad Asks slightly annoyed
"Nothing" you say not looking at his eyes
"Babe Who was that?" Brad Asks annoyed as he stops walking
"My ex" you mutter
"Your ex! Why didn't you tell me that you were in an abusive relationship?" Brad Asks angrily
"I don't know I was going to tell you though I didn't know how to bring it up though" you say with your eyes still glued to the floor so he can't see the tears that have formed
"You know you can talk to me about things we don't have secrets!" Brad says raising his voice
"I know I know please just calm down I'm safe now" you tell him as you take hold of his hand again which reduces his stress as he relaxes and squeezes your hand
"Baby just tell me things like that" he says softly
"I will I'm sorry" you say
"It's okay" he replies as he gives you a small peck
