Lost rex

You're on the sofa watching the new Shane Dawson video while brad is getting told how to look after a bearded dragon as his mate Connor is going for a weekend away and needs someone to look after Rex his bearded dragon. Brad then walks in and sits down next to you with Rex on his lap as he strokes it
"Babe do you want dinner?" Brad Asks but you're not really paying attention as you are to focused on the video you are watching and then he taps your shoulder which makes you turn around and look at him
"What is it?" You ask
"Do you want dinner?" He Asks
"Yes please" you say and then he orders the food which means that you can un-pause the video. Shortly after the door bell rings and it's the delivery
"Sit there buddy don't move" brad says to Rex as he stands up but again you're way too focused on the video and you didn't realise the doorbell even went so when brad walks in with the food you're shocked so you pause the video
"When did this get here?" You ask
"Just there but you were more interested in the video" brad says and then he gasps
"What?" You ask concerned
"Rex" He says
"What about Rex?" You ask
"He's not where I left him" brad says
"Well it is an animal so it will move but it can't be too far" you tell him and then you both start to carefully lift the pillows up from the sofa in case he's on one of them but then you realise he's not on the sofa, you check underneath
"Oh no where is he?" Brad panics
"Bradley he cant have gone too far but we will find him" you reassure him
"What am I meant to tell con?" He says as he places his head into his hands
"Look we are going to find him" you promise him as you rub his shoulders to calm him down
"Where could he be?" Brad Asks
"Where's the food con left?" You ask ask brad walks into the kitchen and you follow after him and there he is eating from the food that he shouldn't be eating at the moment
"Oh thank goodness" brad says
"See told you that you would find him" you say smiling
"Awh thanks so much for helping find him I don't know what I would do without you, I would probably have left the band" brad says as he pulls you in to his chest and wraps his muscular arms around you
"You shouldn't be eating that yet buddy you'll have none left for tomorrow and the day after and you scared me your dad con would've been upset with uncle Bradley and auntie Y/n If we lost you" brad talks to him as if it's a baby and then he picks it up and puts it down in the cage while you eat your dinner. After dinner you bring him out and stroke him while he's on your lap, Brad takes a picture and sends it to con and says 'Rex says he wants to stay with us' which makes you both laugh and surely con would find it funny too.
