I woke up feeling nauseated. I looked around the surrounding and I am inside a hospital room. I saw my Mom sleeping on the chair with her hand holding mine. I must have passed out after I heard a gun shot.

Gun shot...

Dad...

I stood up and my Mom woke up. Her eyes are weary and I couldn't help it but feel bad for waking her up.

"Raven..."

"Can I see him?" I asked. Mom looked at me, surprised. She's probably aware that I already read her thought.

"Do you really want to? I mean, you passed out because you had a panic attack."

"Mom..." I hold her hand and smiled at her as an assurance that I am fine even though I know that deep inside, I'm not. "I can be strong."

"I know you are but as your Mom, I don't want to see you hurt."

Sebastian went inside the room and I approached him but I still feel nauseated. He caught me before I fall down on the floor.

"You should rest, Rae." Sebastian said. I pulled away from him and I looked at his shirt. It was filled with blood stain. It must have been traumatic for him to see a lot of blood during the incident.

"I want to see him." I said.

"You know already?" He asked.

"Maybe you have forgotten it but I can read thoughts." I said. He took a deep breath and he suddenly hugged me tight.

"Tonight is such a long night." Sebastian sighed.

Yes it is and I just want the night to end.

Sebastian and I went inside another hospital room where Sean is held captive. As I stepped inside the room, I can hear Sean's thoughts. He's singing the nursery rhyme again. He doesn't want me to read his thoughts and that's why he's blocking me in his mind. I must admit, Sean is a clever man for figuring out how to block me on his thoughts.

Sean is lying on the bed with his hand being handcuffed on the stool of the bed. He looked at me and he creepily smiled at me. It feels like his smile is creeping inside of me because I feel terrified that he is around. I am terrified that we're all in the same room.

Det. Parker went inside the room and he was holding a document. It's a police report against Sean Lewis from Sebastian Lewis.

"So, Sean..." Sean's attention diverted to Det. Parker. He looked at him like the way he looked at me. He smiled at him creepily. "You dressed up in scrubs and you sneaked yourself inside Alas Grayson's room without being aware that a police officer is watching over him."

"I miscalculated the situation, Detective." Sean bluntly said.

"You attempted to stab Alas Grayson with a surgical knife but before you got close to him, Officer Kinkle shot you on your left arm."  Det. Parker said. I looked at the wound on Sean's left arm. That must have hurt but every time I look at him, he doesn't show any pain.

"As you can see, Detective... I got wounded by your officer and I don't know what I'll do if you won't believe me."  Sean said.

"Ms. Stone, is he telling the truth? Can you read his thoughts?" Det. Parker asked.

"I can't... I can't read his thoughts." I said. Sebastian looked surprised and Sean gave me a smug look.

"What do you mean that you can't read his thoughts?" Sebastian asked.

"Sean's blocking me. He won't allow me to read his thoughts." I said.

"Is that even possible?" Sebastian asked.
