The Huntress, also known as Alex, finally began to walk home from her hunting trip that night. As she walked, she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. Then she heard the sound of a weapon scraping down a tree, so she stopped and readied her bow. With an arrow nocked and the string pulled back, she walked in the direction of the noise. As she walked closer to it there was a white flash of light. Alex fell to the ground, dropping her bow and yelping. She heard a dark laugh and the light was gone. She stood up and leaned against the tree. Lighting a torch she found that someone had carved into the tree. She read it out loud: "Ready or not, here I come. -H." After reading it she ran back home to Steve.
