I watched the arrow as it flew into my chest. I fell down onto the ground trying to figure out who it was that shot me, hoping it wasn't my sister...
Paige's POV
I can't believe I just did that. Why did I kill him?! I just killed a boy from another district that I don't even know what it is to be honest! (Haha tricked you!😝) Before this started, during training I had promised myself that I would not kill even an animal to survive! I ran off when I tripped over something, probably a dead body, I thought to myself.
"P- Paige?" I heard a raspy voice say. I turned around.
"Josh!" I whispered while I started to cry. I hugged him tightly. "Josh! I'm so sorry this happened to you! You didn't deserve this!" I yelled as his last breathe came out of his now dead body. I closed his eyes and sat there with my arms around him, crying for what seemed like five minutes. I had to move on, so I wouldn't get killed... That's when I knew what was coming.
