Chapter 8 - Skinny Love

Logan's POV
"Virgil can you hear me."
Virgil wasn't answering me. I got really scared. I didn't understand what was going on. I kiss him on the lips. He kisses me back. I pull away and tell him everything was going to be alright. Then someone opens the bathroom door.
"Omg Virgil! Get away from him!" Roman yells as he runs to Virgil. He takes Virgil from my arms. I get really worried.

Romans POV
My phone vibrates. I get a text from Max.
Where are you? And do you know why Virgil doesn't look so well?
After I read this I run toward the school. Thankfully I was only a block away. I run into the school. I look all over for Virgil with out talking to anyone. I check all the bathrooms. I see Virgil in all dark clothes. He was with Logan.
"Omg Virgil! Get away from him." I run to Virgil and take him from Logan's arm. He is just like the night I found him. I think he is having an anxiety attack. I hold him closer to me. He cuddles closer to my chest. He starts crying. Logan gets up and leaves.
"Virgil?"

Virgils POV
I barely can understand what Logan is saying to me. When I can understand what he is saying, I am to afraid to talk. I might say something wrong. Then he kisses me on the lips. I kiss him back. He pulls away. He tells me everything will be alright. I hear someone yell my name then for Logan to get away from me. I hear Romans soft voice. I pull myself closer to him. I start to cry in his arms.
"Virgil?" Roman says
"Ro."
"Are you okay?"
"Y-yea" Roman looks at me knowing I am lying.
"N-no I am not."
"What is wrong Virgil."
I can down and catch my breathe before talking again.
"Do you hate me."
"I would never."
"I feel as if ev-everyone ha-hates me."
"Why would you think that?"
"Because my dad ODed and hung himself because of me."
"You don't know it was because of you."
"He had a note."
"Oh, I see. But that doesn't mean everyone else hates you."
"Your friends clearly do. You hate me because of the kiss."
"Virgil, that wasn't your fault. I kissed you first."
"Are you sure you don't hate me?"
"Yeah."
"Well Logan and Patton hate me."
"Well who cares what they think."
"Thank you Roman."
"I am always here for you Virge."

First bell rings. We don't move.

"Come on skinny love just last the year
Pour a little salt we were never here

Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer" Roman sings. I join in with him.

"I tell my love to wreck it all
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall

Right in the moment this order's tall" I sing while I sit up and look at him

"I told you to be balanced" Roman sings

"Come on skinny love what happened here
Suckle on the hope in lite brassiere

Sullen load is full; so slow on the split" Roman sings

"I told you to be patient"

"I told you to be fine"

"I told you to be balanced" I sing

"I told you to be kind"

"Now all your love is wasted?
Then who the hell was I?" Roman sings

"Now I'm breaking at the britches
And at the end of all your lines"

"Who will love you?"

"Who will fight?" I sing

"Who will fall far behind?"

"Come on skinny love
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my" we sing together.

We sit there for a few seconds just looking into Each others eyes.
"You are a beautiful singer Virge." Roman says to me. I feel myself blush.
"I am not." I try to say without smiling
"Your so adorable when you try to act tough."
"I am not adorable. I am, I am evil."
"Virgil, I know you sleep with a teddy bear."
"Well, um, he is my right hand man."
"You are so cute." Roman says while he kisses me on the nose. I blush more.
"Fine." I say sounding defeated. Roman laughs at that.
"You are an amazing singer too Roman."
"Thank you."
"Do you wanna skip school?"
"Sure!" Roman says
We get up and run down the hall. I pull the fire alarm and we keep running. We open the doors and run through them. We keep running. We run to the park. When we get to a spot I run into Roman tackling to the ground. He gets on top of me. Pining my arms to the ground.
"Hi." Roman says
"Hi."
Roman starts to blush
"What are you doing Ro?"
"Just looking at the most beautiful thing in the world." I blush at that. Then a butterfly flys between us and lands on my nose.
"Shh." Roman whispers
I look down at the butterfly and smile. Then I look at Roman. The butterfly flys away.
"That was adorable." Roman says
"To bad I didn't get to see how adorable it was."
"No silly, the butterfly wasn't adorable, it was the way you reacted to it."
"Thank." I blush Roman falls over and lays next to me. I put my head on his chest. We lay there listening to the wind and looking at the clouds.
"This is very relaxing."
"Yeah it is." I say.
Roman starts to play with my hair. I fall asleep on him.

Romans POV
Aww he is so cute when he is sleeping. I will not wake him up. I put my arm around him. He cuddles closer to me. I kiss his head and fall asleep.

Logan's POV
Roman sits there with Virgil in his arms. I can't sit here any longer. I get up an leave. I go to class. I walk over next to Patton.
"Hey Logan."
"Hi Patton."
"So did it go well."
"Lets just say, I never got to apologise."
"What happened."
"I was trying to say sorry then he never said anything back. He started shaking. Then he kinda look as if he was going to fall over so I took him into the bathroom."
"Is he okay?"
"I don't know, Roman came there and took him away."
"Oh."
"Has anyone seen Virgil." The teacher asks
I smile at is name. Why did I do that.
"No." Everyone says
I hope he is okay.
The teacher keeps teaching but all I can think about is Virgil. Wait I don't- the fire alarm goes off. We all get out of the building. There was no fire. Some how someone pulled the fire alarm on accident. We all go back to class.
