*Nya's POV*
I had spoken to Wu and Misako, who were really concerned for the ninja. None of them had come back yet from their journey and it had already been two days since their departure.
"Red hasn't returned either," Wu said with a sigh. "First he disappears and now the ninja. Fortunately, my brother is with them."
"This is my husband we're talking about," Misako had said. "And that's what worries me."
So I took it upon myself to find them in the new vehicle I had built—which was too cool.
Once I was on the road, I pressed one of the buttons, hoping to reach him. "Come on, Red... pick up."
But I only heard a faint beeping behind me. "What the...?"
I stopped the vehicle, turning around. I found where the beeping was coming from and picked up Red's communication watch. Since neither of us were ninja, I set us up with these in case of an emergency.
So seeing that I was holding his in the palm of my hand, I knew something was wrong.
"Red, you dumbass." I sighed, placing the watch on the vacant seat next to me, driving off once again.
A few hours had passed when I heard a familiar sound. A familiar squawk.
"The falcon...?" I looked up for a second, and I was right. There was Zane's old falcon, flying above me.
It then began to fly away and I knew I had to follow him. So I did, and eventually, he took me to the deserted road.
"Why did you call me here?" I asked.
The falcon then perched itself on top of my vehicle, staring straight ahead. I took the rest into my own hands.
I turned back in my seat, staring at the screen. I pressed a button and the location moved all the way across the ocean and onto an island icon.
I gasped. "Zane's beacon... coming from somewhere off the coast. But that's impossible..."
I then contacted Wu. "Sensei Wu, come in? This is Nya, do you read? I think I may have found the ninja!"
*No POV*
"Tell me, Red. What did you think of the last battles that took place?" Chen asked.
Red only crossed his arms, his hood off, watching the kabuki dance around. "The last arena was..."
"Dangerous, was it not?" Chen smirked, leaning toward him. "Ooh, I still have the tingles!"
"What if Kai had fallen into the lava?" he snapped, now turning to face the leader. "He was hanging on for dear life multiple times, might I remind you."
"No plan is perfect." Clouse shrugged.
"Oh, relax. You worry too much, Red—if he was dead, I wouldn't be able to obtain his element."
Now Red turned away, sighing. He knew Chen would end up stealing all the elements if the tournament continued the way it was. Later in the evening, he would absorb the elements he had taken today, and there was one more battle up ahead—he just didn't know between who.
Clouse turned to face Chen, his hands folded—something else was on his mind. "Speaking of the Ninja... Master, it was them who snuck into our ceremony. Yet we allow them to move forward... I beg you, let me use my sorcery and put an end to this."
