Aahana p.o.v:

I heard my phone ringing and I immediately kept it in silent knowing who will call at this time of the night. I looked at my parents, brother and cousins all looking at the TV.   

My parents and cousins came to spend some time with us today. they are going to stay for a couple of days. Obviously, no one knows what's going on between me and Abhay. 

" I'm sleepy," I said faking a yawn. "I will go and sleep."

"Hey, stay Aahi. we won't be spending time like this anytime soon." my cousin protested.

"But I can't hold it back any more Prem," I said with a pout and then they can't say no.

 I felt guilty about ditching them, but I have to. I have to talk to Abhay and tell him about my parent's visit. from the past month its been our daily routine to talk before bedtime.

"hello"

"I thought you slept already." listening to his voice itself makes me smile like an idiot even if he didn't say anything funny. 

"no, my parents came here today along with my cousins to stay for a couple of days. you   called me when I am with them so I didn't lift your call."'

"what if they are there? you are just talking to your husband." He said and I fell silent.

"Aahana?"

"hmm"

"For how many days we have to continue like this? when will you come home?"

"I don't kno-w" I said. 

"You want to come right?" I gulped."Just say yes Aahana. I will come and talk to your parents. I know they are not going to accept it, but I will try my best. I promise."

"I love you." I hung up saying so.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with her. No matter what."

I looked at him looking straight at my brother while saying those words.

shocked and stunned, I stood there still processing what he said. My brother looked at me questioningly.

"Karthik, I don't think this is the right time or the right way."  My father said and that brought my brother's attention.

"What will be the right time then?" My brother questioned.

All my cousins left the place taking the heat of the situation. I would have left too if I am the old me. The one who never took part in the important decisions of her life. But I can't do that now. Especially, not when someone I love is going to come and ask my hand in marriage. I can't leave when someone came and asked to marry me, while I am here waiting for my husband. 

I know Abhay will come today. I know that he is not a man of patience. He will not wait after what I said last night.

"Aahana. Come and sit. " My brother said patting the place next to him.  I sat slowly still processing what is going on. How to tell them that I'm meeting Abhay all this time while they are hating him to death.

My hands become cold and started sweating. I'm thinking about this from the last night. Hundred scenarios where Abhay comes and tell this still that made my head spin.but not even one where I have to tell this.

I looked up nervously only to find my brother looking at Karthik, and my father and Karthik looking at me, this made me more nervous.

"Anna, That guy came here. "  My  cousin brother said gaining all of our attention.

"Who? " My brother asked.

I know who he is. I know.

"ABHAY."

I feel so bad for making you guys wait from the start. But this time I am more than sorry ,I was so lost, confused, hurt and demotivated that it took me this long  to find myself and write again.
