You where waiting for squidgy and shadow, who had both gone into the poke market to buy some things, max was waiting as well. 

Max : so, you need anymore Pokemon?

You nodded 

You : if I need to beat Marie then I need some more Pokemon, most of what I have is weak against her, the only two that can do some good attacks is growlthie and deerling

Max nodded

Max: I know where to catch some Pokemon, the others should know where to go, let's just get a head start

You sighed and agreeded, following after max to wherever he was going. The both of you stopped in a area for a break, since you still had to get up a hill to get to this area. A octoling was walking up another path and stopped when she saw you, obviously she ended up walking over and also taking a break

Octoling : hello, I guess we're heading the same way

You nodded

Max: wanna come along, if we're all going there we might as well stay together

The octoling nodded

Octoling : I'm nacre, nice to meet you all

You introduced yourself, max did the same. Nacre flicked some of her ivory tentacles out her face. Max got up

Max: we should keep moving, of it gets dark I don't want to stay here

Nacre got up, you did the same and all kept walking, you where about half way up the hill when the ground started shaking. Max looked around, making sure it wasn't any random truck coming at you all. The ground collapsed beneath you all and you all fell into a pit, nacre was the first to get up and look around

Nacre: looks like we're going the long route guys, this cave goes on for a while

Max got up and let out his charizard so the was some light, you got up. All of you headed into the cave

Max: this isn't a normal cave, anyone else seen stuff like pillars holding the walls up?

Nacre: yes I have, weird isn't it, I wonder if this is a ruin?

You: if it is then there's definitely gonna be some Pokemon here so we need to be carful

Max nodded. You all eventually reached a large gap and stopped.
