Chapter 3️⃣2️⃣

(Third Person POV)

“Hyung... Jungkook... what are you two doing here?” Namjoon questioned, he along with Hoseok and Jimin were on their way to the diner, the latter two had Jungkook's and Taehyung's bags in their hands respectively.

Jungkook couldn't stop sighing at the sight of Jimin, of course he has Taehyung's bag...of course...

“Yah Joon, Hobi! Oh Pinky... you are here too... ” Yoongi sent a displeased look towards Jimin, “Why are you late though?”

“We...had some things to take care of...” Hoseok uncomfortably replied.

“Let's just go to the diner... please... Tae's bag is so heavy...my arms are hurting!” Jimin pleaded.

“Give it to me then!” everyone other than Yoongi sent Jungkook a weird look at this, Yoongi could only smile knowingly.

“Be my guest...” Jimin passed the bag to Jungkook and started walking towards the diner.

Namjoon and Hoseok followed behind him and after giving Jungkook a wink, Yoongi also went with them.

Now on his own, Jungkook stared at the bag in his hand, “What am I even doing?” he groaned and went after them.

“Wahh! You guys are finally here...yah Taehyung! They are here!”

Taehyung came out of the staff room almost immediately after Jin's declaration, “Yah Chim! My ba- where's my bag?” he asked when he noticed that Jimin had only one bag, which was obviously his own.

“I have it.” came Jungkook's bored voice as he entered the diner and placed Taehyung's bag on a nearby table.

“Why do you have it?”

Even though Taehyung's question was rather simple and rational, Jungkook got irritated, “Why? Aren't you going to use it because I had it?”

“Yah Jungkook...what are you talking about?” Jin said, sensing that another fight was about to happen.

Taehyung stayed quiet, he was looking at Jungkook intensely, “Why are you suddenly mad at me?”

Because I'm confused about my feelings for you! Jungkook just wanted to shout out in frustration but chose not to reply and just left the diner.

Taehyung sighed in defeat and looked at Jin, “I told you he doesn't...”

Jin ignored him and questioned Namjoon, “Why were you guys late?”

“Ahh...well...” Namjoon stole a glance of Taehyung, as if to ask for permission and when Taehyung nodded his head, Namjoon told them about what Chaesoo did and how they had to walk around the school to look for those damned posters.

“Jungkook seriously has some bad luck...” Yoongi said and all of them somberly nodded their heads in agreement.

“I-” Taehyung started saying but paused and then stopped altogether.

“Why did he leave?” Hoseok asked.

“Wh-”

Right then Jungkook came back, snatched his bag from Hoseok and left again.

“Well...that was weird...” Yoongi commented after Jungkook's departure.

“Hah! I can't believe we thought this fluff ball was in a gang!” Hoseok joked, making the others laugh.

Only one of them remained quiet and didn't participate in the conversation, “I'll get going then...” and he was gone, leaving the others feeling utterly confused.

“What happened to him now?” Jimin asked, concerned about his new best friend.

This made Yoongi furrow his brows in confusion, “Yo Pinky? Do you like Taehyung?”

Jimin sighed, trying to ignore that awful nickname, and replied, “Of course I do.”

“What?!” Jin and Yoongi said together, the shock was evident on their faces.

“As a friend I mean...” Jimin replied sheepishly, smiling so much that his eyes turned into half moons, “Why are you asking though, hyung?”

“Ahh... because Taehyung likes Jungkook and Jungkook likes Taehyung but they both think that the other likes someone else.” Jin ‘clarified’ the situation so well that it went over everyone's head.

“What...” Hoseok dumbly stared at Jin.

A moment of silence passed before Namjoon spoke up, “Aha! I got it! They both like each other but are unsure about the other's feelings.”

“That's what I said!” Jin said, a tab bit annoyed.

Everyone gave him a ‘not really’ look and concentrated on the problem, “So... should we do something?”

“For the first time you and I are walking on the same road, Pinky” Yoongi said making the younger pout, “Do you think your classmates will help us?”

As for Taehyung and Jungkook, both of  them neither talked to each other nor with others. Weirdly enough, both had their phones beside them and were looking longing at it, hoping that the other would reach out in any way.

Even though Jungkook wanted to text Taehyung he couldn't as he was still angry at himself concerning the confusing feelings he had for Taehyung. As for Taehyung, he thought that Jungkook was mad at him.

And both of them were looking forward to the next morning, so that they'd be able to see each other.
