Anything worth dying for is something worth living for.

A week later

"Where is she!?" A voice booms downstairs.

Jacob and I wake up at the same time. Our eyes meet and we both sigh and come out of the room. Another day, another problem waiting for us downstairs. But why on a Sunday?

"Where is that crazy little woman!?" Aunt Aurelia shouts.

Aunt Aurelia!?

"Oh my god!" I shriek and run down the stairs.

There stands my livid good ole aunt with a wincing Sina. Her eyes land on me and my god she is mad. Jacob is soon beside me.

Aunt Aurelia strides to me. I cower behind Jacob. She's gonna kill me.

Then her eyes fall on Jacob. "Is this him?" She asks Sina.

"Oh, yes. He is Era's fiancé." Betrays my sister. I give her a narrow eyed glance. "What? You were not home when she came. What was I supposed to tell her about your whereabouts?" She defends herself. "Don't kill the messenger."

"Oh, did you not want me to know still? Were you going to keep this from me until you got married? Or until you had a kid?" She asks angrily.

"Aunt Aurelia.." I start.

"Save it for later girl." She cuts me sharply. "Let me take a good look at your man first."

She scans Jacob from top to bottom. Now, it's his turn to cower behind me.

"Good looking, rich, tall, blue eyed. Why the hell would you be with someone like Sierra?" Aunt Aurelia says in her usual blunt manner which makes me want to dig a hole and jump into it.

"Auntie..."

"Are you using her for sex? Did he already give you a prenup Era? Is he blackmailing you or something?" She asks ridiculously embarrassing questions one after another.

"It's not..."

"Don't sign the prenup Era. I'm telling you. Wait.. Oh my god! Are you pregnant? Is this why he is marrying you?" She suggests another absurd thing.

Jacob coughs while my face pales.

"Did you tell your uncles that you're pregnant? How far? You haven't started to show yet? Do you know the gender?" Someone shut this woman up.

"No, I.." I start only to be interrupted again.

"Don't stand for too long. It's not healthy. Why do you look so pale? Why are you still so thin? It's not good for the baby. You.."

This time I cut her. "I'm not pregnant!" I shout which finally shuts her up. I sigh. "No I'm not expecting. No, he does not force me. No, he did not make me sign a prenup. And finally, no he is not blackmailing or anything. He's not a mafia. Aunt Aurelia you have a morbid imagination."

"I'm out of here." With this, my traitor sister leaves.

"Will you please calm down and let us explain?" I say to her softly.
