Tony's POV
After Siberia I developed a form of PTSD. It haunted me in my sleep, in night terrors and phantom pains. The ex-avengers being in the tower reminds me of it. Not good.
I tried to calm down, to prevent any anxiety or panic attacks that might occur. I tried to focus as Steve started to talk.
"Alrighty so now that everyone in the government realized the accords are no good, we can be a team again! So as soon as we move in then we can do some team bonding, maybe some board games?"
"Sounds good!"
——time-skip——-
We were sitting in the lounge, spread out on couches, chairs, and occasionally the ground. Monopoly was set up on a coffee table in the center of our loose circle. Large windows in place of a wall let light enter, illuminating the room.
I thought about Peter. Sure, kind of random, but monopoly was his favorite game. Maybe I should introduce him to the team. If not as Peter then Spider-Man. Or both.
Before I could say anything, a bloody figure broke through the floor-to-ceiling windows. They stood for a second then collapsed. The Avengers relaxed from their involuntary defensive poses and rushed over.
I kneeled in front of him, and instantly paled as I recognized the mask.
It was Spider-Man.
