Dean deliberates. "Well, you're like a brother to me. I feel very protective of you, just like I feel with Sam. And you're a good friend, one that I trust."
Cas deflates a little, thinking maybe Bobby was wrong.
"But," Dean adds. "I feel some things when I'm with you that I don't feel with Sam. I don't know why. I- I still like women, you know?"
Cas looks down at his hands.
"I really want to kiss you right now, but I don't know if that's okay."
Cas looks up, surprised, meeting Dean's eyes, which glint with a sort of fire that Cas hadn't noticed before.
"It's okay." He replies softly.
Dean uncertainly steps closer, his bow legs giving him some trouble, which Cas thinks is adorable.
Hesitantly, he sits next to Cas on the bed, and looks into Cas' eyes.
Realization flickers in his eyes. Cas has memorized the look.
"Why am I telling you all this? I never did before."
"Because it's the truth." Cas, in a burst of confidence, closes the distance between them.
As their lips touch, the truth spell breaks, but Cas doesn't notice, being a little preoccupied.
Dean's phone rings. Cas sighs and pulls away.

FanfictionCas just wanted the truth. He may have gotten a little more than he bargained for. A little fluff. Good for reading, curled up, on rainy days such as today.
