Old soul ,good heart ,dumb mind .
Feeling stuck in the wrong place in time.
Trying to find a heart that'll mesh
But stuck in a time too caught up in the flesh.
Left to fend on my own finding it hard to find a place that feels like home.
Caught up in their eyes trying to find that inner beauty not realizing were from two different century.
A puzzle piece that just won't fit could care less bout getting "lit".
Trying to find my place in life even though I find myself at the sharp end of the knife .
I don't want to give in .
But too often I find myself saying this isn't livin.
Sunshine long gone rain clouds stuck in my mind.
Wishing I could go back to simpler times.
