it was exactly a month later when you received the next one. but of course, you didn't know that. all you knew was that when you opened your locker on october 14th, there was yet another letter. it said:

i learned that not only are you pretty, you're also really nice. i just happened to be nearby when there was a girl with crutches and you carried her books for her. ah, it touched my heart, really. it seems you really are beautiful inside and out. gosh, that was so cheesy. i'm embarrassed now. anyways, i hope you have a good day.

that time, you couldn't stop the wide grin that spread across your face. you probably looked crazy, standing in front of your locker, grinning widely at a piece of looseleaf paper. but you didn't even care.
the only person who did care was the boy standing across the hallway, watching you discreetly. he was smiling too.
